chapter 9

*Hayal*

I always felt Leyla's presence after her death. I always had nightmare about Leyla coming back to hurt me. But I know everything is happening because of my experiences, because of how evil she turned out before her death. Seeing her right in front me terrified me. I didn't Want to hear a single word. One thing I know and I'm sure about is that Leyla is dead and gone forever.

I start sweating so I walk out quickly. I entered my office and take a sip of water. I started shivering and having a panic attack.

"My love" Ahmad said as he walk in.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I broke into tears and rushed to hug him.

" it will be okay" he said.

I didn't want to let go, I'm not ready and I don't understand what is happening or why it's happening.

After the short panic I put myself together and we went back. I couldn't maintain an eye contact with her.

"Naila will be my personal assistant from now hence forth" melissa said.

"Naila?" I asked looking at ahmad with confusion.

"Yes Naila, Leyla's twin, I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused" she said.

"Naila had a twin ?" I asked.

Ahmad quickly interrupted the conversation. We had a little meeting on how thing are going to be and how to take the company to a different level.

I requested to speak to the so Called "Naila". Something doesn't sit right with me. Leyla had a twin? I was her best friend and we shared everything together.

She sat down to my opposite and we ordered a coffee.

"I'm Hayal, Leyla's best friend" I said.

"Ex best friend" she cut me off. I didn't know why I said best friend either, she was my ex best friend also a monster that stabbed me behind my back. We spent everyday together but I couldn't see how evil she was.

"Whatever you call it" I replied.

" I was shock to find out Leyla had a twin. She never brought it up". I said.

"Because she was adopted and I was with our biological parent". She said.

"But how did you know you had a twin" I asked.

She smile and something about her facial expression is not right.

"Do you think I just find out? Me and Leyla met countless times" she said.

"And she never told me?"

"Maybe because she don't trust you."

I had to end the conversation because I don't know where it's leading to. Maybe leyla told her ba things about me.

I told ahmad our conversation and my thoughts on naila. He is neutral about the whole thing But I feel like something terrible is about to happen.

I had a terrible nightmare about Leyla yet again. I was scared to go to work because I will see her. Even if she is not her they have exact the same everything.

My first encounter in the morning was Naila. I felt scared. We greeted with a fake smile.

"You were Leyla's best friend, I think we could be good friends too" she said confidentially.  Her facial expressions show she don't like me so why is she asking me to be her friend.

"I thought about it too" I replied in brief.

"Leyla was so innocent you know, she has the kindest heart ever " naila said.

I don't know if she is talking about a different leyla because the leyla I know is devil.

"Yes she does"

Naila's facial expressions changed and all I could see is leyla. The day leyla confessed about what she did to me, what she did to her brother. The day I saw pure rage and hatred in her eyes.

She moved closer to me and I thought she was going to push me so I flinced but she hugged me instead.

"At the end of day, everyone will pay for what they did" she whispered to my ears.
