chapter 27

*Hayal*

I started loosing my breath. I called, screamed, shouted but no one could hear me. I left bag with my phone in the meeting room.

I climb to see if I can see something from the closed window or try to open the window for ventilation. I slip and piled of books fall on me. The dust started chocking me.

"There is absolutely no way I'm making it out of here alive.

Hours passes and nobody came to my rescure. I heard someone passing by so I tried to speak. I lost all my energy and my vision got blury.

"Is there someone there?" The person ask.
"Help me" was all I could whisper.

The guy called security and I could hear people trying to opened the door. I have started loosing my consciousness.

"I'm coming to save you my love" I heard in Ahmad's voice.

Someone hit the door so loudly and that was the last thing I could remember. My vision and hearing went completely blank.

I opened my eyes trying to understand where was I. A few seconds later I realized I was in the hospital.

"My love" ahmad said rubbing my hands.

"What happened?" I asked and then the memory of everything came back to me. How that witch try to get rid of me.

"You lost your consciousness but you're okay now" he replied.

Melissa, Naila and other coworkers walk in to wish me well. My eyes were on naila whole time. You can see it through her eyes that she didn't regret it. But who else can see the real her apart from me?

The police arrived and she flinched. She look at me with a pleading eye. They were ask to leave so the police can take my statement.

"Get well soon" they first extended their wishes and I respond.

"Can you explain what happened in details?" The cop ask.

"I don't really remember" I replied.

"Did someone locked you?" He asked.

"No, I get in there accidentally" I replied.

"Okay noted, you can still change your statement if you remember any detail" he said and I thank them. I know Exactly why I didn't gave Naila's name. I won't even lie I'm scared of what she could do next if I gave her name. She's a terrible liar and a manipulator. I will be the one playing the game now. I will scare her as much as I could.

Everyone left and Ahmad sat next to me.

"Are you hungry baby?" He asked.

"No but I'm thirsty" I replied.

I gave me water to drink.

"Thank you" I replied after drinking it.

"Ahmad I have something to tell you" I said.

He turn his full attention to me "I'm listening" he replied.

"Naila locked me"

"Naila locked you?" He asked.

"I just want you to believe me this time around. That's all I want"

"Why didn't you say anything to the police then?" He asked.

"Because she is a devil"

He said he will call Melissa to ask where they're at the time of the event. Melissa said naila was with her. But the truth is naila followed me right after and she went back early so no one could suspect anything.

"She said they were together" he replied.

"Melissa cannot be trusted either" I said.

He took a deep breath and hold my hands "I believe you my love. But what I don't understand is why would she do something like that?"

I looked into his eyes and smiled. I didn't say she did it because of him, not yet.

"We will find out together" I replied.

"I think hospital should be using a bigger bed" he said and I laughed.

"Why would they?" I asked.

"Because right now I want to wrap my arms around you but the bed is too small" he said.

"It can accommodate both of us" I said and shift. He lay next to me. I lean on his shoulders and he wrapped his arms around me. I looked at him and fall deeply in love again.

"I will expose you Naila, I will" I said in my mind.
