*Hayal*

I told myself not to ever offer to help melissa again but she seems to lost.

I went to her office and ask for the permission to get it.

"Come in" she said.
I walk in and sat down.
"Melissa I will go straight to the point"

"Yes" she replied.
"There are some errors in the files you sent me yesterday. I was able to fix them but that's not why am I here. What is happening with you?" I asked.

"Nothing" she replied.

"Okay since you said so. But this errors shouldn't be happening. I know you're not okay, you should at least give Naila to fix it, she is your assistant" I replied
She apologize and said it won't happen again.

"If you need anything I'm always here" I replied.

"Thank you" she said and I could see from her eyes she meant it.

I wake up and get ready quickly because it's our anniversary. I bought gift for Ahmad and hide them in the guest room.

"Good morning love" he said holding my hands.
"Good morning" I replied.

We all look at each other and smile.

"Happy anniversary" we said it the same time and we laugh.

"I thought you forget" I said.

"How can I forget the best day of my life?" He replied.

He got some beautiful gift and I gave him his. Then he pull out the biggest surprise. Tickets to Maldives for the weekend. I jumped and hug him.

"Do you think we should host an anniversary party after we return?" I asked.

"That will be great" he said.

Our two days in Maldives went extremely phenomenal. I wish we could stay there forever. Just the two of us.

We host the party at home with our close friends only. I wanted to invite melissa to distract her from whatever she's going through but I didn't want to invite naila. I had to invite both of them even though I didn't want to.

It was a very beautiful night and I made sure naila was uncomfortable. I cling to Ahmad every second and I could see the jealousy in her eyes.

Everyone left except melissa, Naila and two other girls.

I got curious of where they're so I went to check. I had Melissa and Naila's voice from outside.

"I hate you more than anything Naila" she said to her.

"You can only hate me but you can't do anything about it" naila replied.

"I'm leaving" she added and I quickly hide. I made sure naila is gone before I head in to the room.

I saw melissa sitting on the bed side crying.

"Melissa what happened?" I sat next to her. She hugged me immediately and burst into tears.

"I'm so sorry hayal" she said.

"You're sorry for what?" I asked.

"For hurting you so much!for everything I have been doing to you" she replied.

"Its okay Melissa".

She pull back and look it me.

"What happened between you and Naila?" I asked.

"I'm so scared" she said.

I move closer and hold her hands.

"You can trust me melissa. I know everything naila is doing if that is what is stopping you from telling me"

"How did you know?" She asked.

"Because she tried to harm me countless time. She luck me when we went to the business trip" I replied.

"She did?" She look surprised.

I ask her to tell me what happened and she narrated everything. How she got Naila to start working.

"I am so selfish Hayal! I wanted to take everything from you. I don't deserve you" she said.

I felt a little angry because of how hard they tried to separate me from Ahmad but seeing how regretful she is I pity her.

"It's in the past now. Tell me what happened between you two" I said.

"Can I trust you Hayal?" She said with a pleading eyes.

"Yes you can"

"I killed someone" she said and that is something I enevr expected. She narrate how everything happened. The only mistake she made was listening to Naila. Self defense is at thing, but hiding murder is a crime of its own. I told her she should handle herself to the police.

"It will be easier and Naila...."

"And Naila what?" Naila said folding her arms.
