Will didn't find you and Ellie's little joke funny, so he grounded you, so you laid in your bed, mindlessly scrolling through social media with one hand, the other hand throwing a softball up and catching it.
You laid in your bed, your mind flooding with whatever meaningless drabble it could as your phone buzzed, with Ellie's unique ringtone that she put in. You picked it up and read it.

An hour or two later, you got a knock at your door, you threw on some clothes and opened the door to see Ellie standing there with your sunglasses.
"Did you steal my sun-" You went to say, but she cut you off.
"Good news, you are no longer grounded" Ellie smiled as you sighed in relief.
"...Knowing Will there's always a catch" You smiled as she predictably nodded.
"Bad news...you're now an intern...unpaid..." Ellie told you.
Amazing. This couldn't possible get any-
"For Forty Quinn" Ellie finished.
Me and my fucking mouth.
Oh and Will got arrested by the way, of course he doesn't know that I know. But I know, I may not know what for, but he really needs to figure that shit out, I'm well aware of his troubles with the law, but never the reason.
Days went past and so did shifts interning with Ellie, it wasn't so bad having her there, mini dates during lunch breaks, having to solve arguments about who the better director was between Forty and Ellie.
Though, Forty quickly discovered you were biased after your 10th argument in a row siding with your girlfriend. Life was finally looking up for you.
You were also hired as a writing assistant, as Forty admired your 'Tired yet inspired' effort. It wasn't all bad, as you and Ellie were currently walking through an expensive hotel hallway.
