"C'mon, hurry up in there, we're gonna be late" You sister, Mia, yelled out as you brushed your teeth.
"Cool your fucking horses!" You yelled back, finishing, washing your mouth out.
You threw on your yellow champion sweater, it was something you really liked wearing, associating a lot of good memories with it.
The two of you made your way to the door, ready for another average day at school, but before you went out of the door, you stopped.
"What?" Mia raised her eyebrow.
"Just checking" You turned the other direction, going to the cooker.
You had used the cooker to cook your breakfast in, and while you remembered turning it off, you weren't completely sure if you did, so you just had to make sure.
You saw that the cooker was indeed turned off, but you quickly turned it on and off again just to make sure, Mia rolled her eyes from the doorway.
"I'll get the car started" She said.
"Don't wait up, Sam and Leon are picking me up" You said, referring to your two best friends.
"Great...the dumbass squad is reuniting" Mia scoffed as she walked out.
"AND I-" Leon sang, as music blasted from the speaker.
Leon was a tall, charming man with flowing black hair and tan skin. He also had a charming smile and took a lot of attention from girls away from you, but you all had jokes about it.
"I FEEL IT AFTER MIDNIGHT!" Sam sang, riding shotgun.
Sam was a shorter girl with auburn hair and pale skin, she was also completely tone deaf, so hearing her sing sounded like nails on a chalkboard.
Together, the three of you dubbed your friend group, 'The three musketeers', which also played into a name the three of you would use when performing.
Leon loved filmmaking, constantly begging the two of you to join him in whatever little indie films he was creating. Sam loved to dance, being on Mia's dance team, she was quite good at it, practically the only thing she was good at.
While you loved music, singing or just playing guitar. The three of you had your own separate social media accounts where you'd each post what you loved doing. None of your covers ever gained that much traction though.
Occasionally, your friends would ask you to cover a song they would collectively hyper fixate on, to which you normally accepted. But you said no to 'God is a woman', a decision you'd come to regret as you pulled into school, the song closing out for the fifth time.
"So...you sold?" Leon asked, smirking.
"Y'know, I was sold on the fourth listen, but the fifth listen really wasn't a good experience, verdicts still out" You joked, opening the door.
"You better have a decision by the end of today, if not we're leaving your ass" Sam joked, as you rolled your eyes.
"You guys wouldn't just leave me" You said, going into your class. Since you were in, as Leon joked, 'Nerd classes'.
You looked around, desperate to find any source of entertainment what so ever, tapping your pen mindlessly, making sure to tap it an even number, you never knew why it had to be even.
