day 100
"thank you." josh smiled, grabbing the tray out of tyler's hand. tyler brought him breakfast in bed.
how sweet.
"no problem." tyler smiled, plopping down on the bed and turning on his tv.
"you're not eating?" josh asked, taking a bite of his toast.
"nah, i've been up a while." tyler said. it was currently 11:00am.
"cleaning?" josh said with a mouthful.
"yupp." tyler nodded. "all nice and shiny now."
josh continued to eat as tyler put on a tv show.
"you down for a road trip today?" tyler asked.
"where to?" josh looked confused.
"well, i have a little vacation house on the lake, i figured we can take a weekend trip while i don't have any work." tyler shrugged.
josh silently watched the tv, not sure how to respond.
"what?" tyler asked.
"what is this, some kind of sex trafficking or sacrifice or something?" josh said, chuckling out of nervousness.
"oh yeah for sure." tyler said sarcastically. he noticed josh was still scared.
"no, joshua, it's not that." he chuckled. "i have a vacation house on the lake, that's it. i promise."
"i guess i don't have a choice." josh said.
"alright, i'll pack us up some clothes. when you finish you can hop in the shower?" tyler stood up and grabbed a suitcase.
"okay." josh nodded, almost finished with his breakfast.
-
josh stepped out of the shower and grabbed his towel to dry off. he slid on the clothes tyler had set out for him. he towel dried his hair off, and grabbed his tooth brush.
"almost ready?" tyler walked in, josh nodding.
"alright everything's packed up." tyler said.
"how longs the drive?" josh asked with a mouthful of toothpaste.
"bout an hour." tyler said.
josh almost smiled. this will be the first time he's gonna be getting out of this house. he was still weary though.
"alright let's go." tyler said, once josh walked out of the bathroom. he grabbed the suitcase and headed out to his garage.
he put the suitcase in the back, and opened the front passenger door for josh.
josh looked surprised at tyler's car, it seemed brand new almost. he remember that tyler makes pretty good money in his career.
he got in, buckling his seatbelt.
-
"we're here." tyler said, slightly shaking josh.
"we're here?" josh said groggily.
"yup." tyler nodded. josh looked around at the beautiful house, that was overlooking the lake. it was very secluded.
"it's a real house." josh said.
"i promised, didn't i?"
josh rolled his eyes and got out of the car. tyler grabbed the suitcase and walked up with him to the door. he unlocked it and they walked in.
"woah." josh looked around. it had an upstairs, and the downstairs was a living room, kitchen, a bathroom, and a sunroom. all of the doors also had locks on the inside, that needed a key.
"you like?" tyler asked.
"yeah." josh nodded. "it's so nice."
he followed tyler up the stairs, to the master bedroom. there was another bedroom up there as well, with another bathroom next to it.
the master bedroom was obviously huge, with a king sized bed and a sliding door that led to a balcony that overlooked the lake. the bathroom had a large jacuzzi bathtub, and a rainfall shower. the color theme was navy, black, and off white.
"are you rich?" josh asked, tyler laughing.
"am i rich?" tyler repeated.
"yeah." josh said.
"yeah, i guess you could say i'm rich." tyler shrugged.
josh flopped back down on the bed, sighing in comfort as he sunk into the soft mattress.
"why do you have this place?" josh asked.
"sometimes i like to take a break. i usually spend the whole summer down here also." tyler said. he started unpacking some of their clothes and stuff.
josh sighed.
"let's go make some lunch." tyler said, grabbing joshs hand and pulling him up.
