Chapter 9: The second meeting (1)

After that incident the entire kingdom seemed to be in chaos seeing the dead bear in the pile of presents with blood still oozing out smearing everything in blood the look of horror washed over the Empress' face and the second prince.... Honestly it was hilarious until the Duke grabbed me by the arm in a state of panic with Derrick already in the carriage and Reynold following behind us looking horrified 'I'm gonna tease him later'

When we arrived back at the Eckhart manor I couldn't control myself and rushed to the bathroom and puked 'Oh how I miss cars everything is so bumpy here'

Time skip

Three days has passed since that incident and I was staying at my room reading novels I managed to get my hands on in secrecy somehow impressed that the Duke would have these kinds of books probably the previous Duchess loved them and randomly scribbling in a notebook some inspiration for a fanfic that I write for fun making it BL (My favorite no hate pls) and a little bit of +18 until I heard a knock on my door 

"My lady would you like some tea"

I quickly hid my stuff under my bed "You may come in"

As Emily came in I noticed the Duke getting ready and curiously asked Emily "What's father doing? Is he going somewhere" 

"He's going to the Palace for Political Affairs" 

Ohhh no wonder

I got up from bed "Emily get me a nice dress I can change quickly on and you can forget the jewelry its a hassle" at this point Emily got used to 'Penelope's' sudden change of attitude I wasn't really fond of jewelry even in my past life but I still have a lot of them just incase I need money if I run away in plan C 

Mini Time skip

I got out dressed up more properly instead or wearing a nightgown and just lazing around since Reynold won't spar nor play with me because of and I quote 'studies' 

"Father wait is it ok if I come with you Pleaaaaasssseeee" I tried using a method with a sprinkle of puppy eyes with I always practice on

He sighed and answered with "Fine"

I jumped up in joy

"But why do you want to go to the Palace normally you'd just be here and whenever I asked you'd decline"

Penelope you fucking ass how could you I quickly told a lie which he seemed to believe.... Luckily and in no time we arrived at the Palace of course I wasn't used to the carriage and felt dizzy enough to prevent myself from puking

"Penelope are you ok"

"I'mmm OOO KKKK"

He looked at me for a while not believing it but continued walking anyways until we reached a door.... 'this should be something like a meeting room oh well I don't like this anyways plus I'm a fake daughter'

"Father I'll just be in the Garden"

"Don't' stray out too far"

After a little while he went inside and I just walked around exploring till I saw a quite familiar Blond hair and Ruby red eyes holding a sword in his hand and was surrounded by men in black clothing assumed to be assassins' that was always sent to...... Callisto

I flinched at the stench and he noticed me and looked at me with a glare

"Who are you and why are you here"

I quickly composed myself and curtsied "My name is Penelope Eckhart of the Eckart Duchy it is nice to meet you your Majesty"

His glare softened and he looked at me with a mix of shock "Your the first one who didn't run away at this sight..." 

Wait what sight.... ohhhh right.... I can't tell this kid I'm reincarnated....
