Aimi pottered through the lobby in her somewhat uncomfortable Valentino's. She winced as she felt the friction between her heel and the back of the shoe. Maxienne had convinced her to wear them stating that 'beauty is worth the pain' and that they made her legs look long. She rolled her eyes at the thought.

Just as the elevator doors were about to shut close a watch clad arm stuck itself through the decreasing gap. Aimi jumped but laughed imagining the hand as if it were something from the incredible Hulk or something. Thankfully, it wasn't the Hulk, it was actually Cayn. Aimi felt her cheeks heat up instantly as he sent her a warm smile.

"Hey Aimi! How you keeping, love?" He asked, pressing his floor.

"I'm great! How are you?" She asked politely. He nodded.

"Pretty well now, thanks for asking" He grinned making Aimi question her existence. Silence took over the two and the next thing to be heard was the bing from the elevator, notifying Aimi that they were on her floor.

"See you later, Cayn" She waved, hiking her Givenchy bag further up her arm. Before she could make it out of the elevator she felt a force pulling her back. She felt a surge of electricity flow through her, running up and down her body almost making her knees buckle beneath her.

"Aimi, I was wondering, would you like to go for lunch today?" Cayn asked, his eyes darting nervously between her face and wall. She felt her heart warm at the question and the look on his face.

"Of course I will" She giggled, "my lunch is at one. Is that okay?"

He nodded sheepishly, letting go of her arm. Aimi stuck her leg out to stop the elevator doors from closing again.

"See you then" She smiled brightly leaving him breathless.

He knew her two days, he had barely spoken two words to her, how could he possibly like her?

Then again, who says you need more than two days to crush on someone?

I felt like I was skipping to my desk. I felt like I was being carried by angels on clouds while eating chocolate covered strawberries.

"What has you so happy?" Maxienne mused falling into step with me. She shuffled through some papers in her hands before turning to me. I sighed dreamily at her.

"Cayn asked me to lunch" I smiled, shaking my head. I shrugged off my coat hanging it on the small rack beside my desk. Maxienne slammed the papers on my table her mouth agape.
