change [luke]

six days before

The minute I got home from the city, I flopped on my bed absolutely exhausted. I woke up at seven am that morning to go to Sydney with Melissa to gather some food for a dinner party she was hosting this weekend. She invited a few of her friends, including Luke and his family, and told me I could invite Calum Michael and Ashton over too. Excited wasn't big enough of a word.

Just as my heavy eyes were drooping slowly, sending me into slumber, I heard a bang coming from my balcony. They shot wide open. The bang was followed by a knock on my balcony door. I stood up and edged to the door peaking out to see who was there.

"Luke" I breathed, opening the door quickly ushering him inside. He grinned lightly, laying his hand on the small of my back. Luke looked different today. Lately, he had started changing his hair and his clothes. It was all an account for the song writing trip and because of the One Direction tour. Even the rest of the boys were swapping their chilled lazy looking style for ridiculously right skinny jeans and band shirts.

His hair was in a small quiff. He told me yesterday he was going to grow his hair again so his quiff would be bigger. It was kinda cute on him although I preferred his spiky half up half down hairdo. He was also sporting a pair of dark wash skinny jeans with black vans and a white shirt. I could definitely get used to this Luke.

"How are you?" He asked, moving his hand to cup my face. A smile spread across my face.

"I'm good. Tired, and you?" I motioned for him to sit down on my bed beside me.

"I was so bored all day while you were gone" He groaned dramatically.

I snorted. "Well I'm here now Hemmings what's poppin'?" I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You haven't seen that Riley guy or anything, have you?" Luke's eyes carried such worry, it made my heart skip a beat.

"No? Dude, I don't even know what he looks like" I forced a small laugh. But his once pained expression quickly turned relaxed once more as he pulled me onto his lap. I laid my head on his chest and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, stroking my hair again.

"Luke?"

"Yeah?"

"How did you get onto my balcony?"

I woke up two hours later in my bed with Luke laid beside me. His eyes were shut and he was snoring softly. The thing that made me smile the most was his hair. Some of his newly formed quiff had fallen down so his hair was a mess ontop of his head. His lips were in the shape of a pout and his cheats heaved up and down as he breathed heavily in his slumber. I couldn't help but sit and take him all in. Every bit of him. From the little red mark above his lip to his cheekbones. Everything.

"It's rude to stare you know" He spoke not even fluttering an eyelid. I jumped slightly in his arms. A small smirk toyed on his lips.

"I don't have anywhere to look because your arms are holding me so tightly I can't turn around" I scoffed jokingly. He peaked open one eye and stared down at me.

"You're not very good at waking up are you?" I giggled. He didn't answer just shook his head, the same smile on his face. We stayed like that for a moment before he pulled me even closer to him, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.

And that's how we stayed for another couple hours. We didn't talk, we barely moved, we just sat in comfortable silence. Enjoying each other's presence.

And I didn't have a problem with that, in fact, I loved it.

I loved Luke.

It had been less than two weeks since I first met Luke and I think I'm in love.

Maybe it's crazy and extraordinary that even maintain the thought of falling in love after two weeks.

But that's exactly what Luke and I were.

Two extraordinary teenagers crazy in love.
