George's POV:

So, the day of the wedding finally came. The day was gonna marry someone I didn't even love.

But it was time, to put the plan in action.

I was adjusting the black tie on the suit. It was uncomfortable and itchy but I didn't have any other choice.

Apparently it was the princess Ophelia I was gonna marry, the girl that I had met a few months ago. She seemed nice and not too bad. So I wasn't too pissed.

My mother came into the room where I was getting myself ready. "Oh George, I'm so happy for you.", she smiled tears filling her eyes.

"Honoring our family by marrying a princess", she wiped away a tear falling down her cheek. Honestly, I wanted to yell at her that this isn't what I wanted.

That what I wanted was to live a normal life, a normal life not being royalty.

Just doing fun and stupid things with my friends and boyfriend, seeing the world, going to parties and what not.

I'd love to just be a person

But all I can hope for now, is that the plan works.

The place were I was getting married was still being set up. Even if I didn't want to get married, I couldn't deny the place still looked beautiful.

Lots of blue and purple flowers everywhere and other green plants varying in shades of green. The wedding was outside and the sun was shining over us.

Since it was late spring the heat from my suit was killing me. But I did look good, and that's all that mattered for now.

The guests we're gonna come soon, so I had to go away until I was gonna walk down the isle. So now I was hanging in the changing room, before my dad was gonna walk me down the isle.

I heard the guests staring to enter. Walking up to the door putting my ear against it, hoping to maybe hear Clay's voice. But there were way to many people so it was kind of pointless.

Finally I heard my dad coming towards the door. Him coming into the room. "Okay George, It's finally time", and after days he actually smiled a quite genuine smile at me.

Before hooking his arm in mine and us started walking outside. Music started playing and everyone turned towards me. At the altar Ophelia was smiling at me a little uncomfortably.

Since we didn't really know each other it wasn't surprising. Now all of a sudden we were standing face to face and we were gonna get married.

The music became silent.

"I'm glad you all have gathers here today for the marriage of prince George and princess Ophelia", the wedding officiant started.

My eyes glanced quickly over the crowd, and I somehow managed to capture a glimpse of Clay. Who looked absolutely devastated.

"So princess Ophelia, do promise to take prince George as your lover and love him no matter what?", he continued and he smiled at her.

"I do", she smiled at me.

She was trying her best, and I knew that. But I wasn't the one for her.

"And prince George, do you promise to take princess Ophelia as your lover and lover her no matter what?", he looked at me, smiling the same warm smile.

I was just about to open my mouth and say 'I do'

"I object!", someone yelled.

Everyone turned to the one who just stopped the future queen and king from getting married.
