George's POV:

So far the summer I had spent living In Clays cottage with his mom and sister is probably the best one ever. I have never had so much fun in my life as I have with them during this month of June.

Hopefully the peace lasted.

I was in the kitchen, helping Rose cook dinner. It was almost done and it smelt amazing. Setting the table we were interrupted by a knock at the door. I felt a pit in my stomach form, I don't know why. But I had an extremely bad feeling about the person or the people standing behind that door.

"I'll get it", Clay got up from his spot on the couch and walked over to open the door. He immediately froze when he saw who was standing there.

No other than my parents.

Rose got a spiteful glint in her eye and turned off the stove. We walked up to the door, and for the first time in a while I was genuinely scared. Aware that I had everyone around me to protect me if something happened made me feel a little better. But I was still shit scared of what was going to happen.

Are they gonna punch me? Argue with me again? Send me to jail? Accept me for who I am and say sorry for all the nasty things they said to me?

My mind was running wild.

"George!", my mother tried to sound happy to see me. She reached out to hug me but I backed away. "Get off of me!", I snapped. My mom became silent and looked a little genuinely hurt.

But in all honesty I couldn't care less, it's not my fault our relationship is ruined. And its not like as soon as they show up to say "sorry" or whatever I'm going to forgive them. All tough I couldn't care less what my parents think of me, those nasty things they said still cut pretty fucking deep

My father took a deep breath.

"George, we want you to come back to the castle", he spoke

We all just stared at him. Dristas mouth wide open and her facial expression saying something like 'did you really just say that'. I almost wanted to burst out laughing in front of them.

But I stayed silent and just looked at them in utter disbelief.

"The royal future needs you, we need you George", my mother added. She smiled and tried to look like she truly meant it. But it was the biggest lie I've ever heard. I clenched my fist, my nails digging into my palm.

"Do you actually think, that you can just show up at the doorstep like this, do some fake apology and expect me just to forgive you and come back?", I wanted to scream at them at the top of my lungs. But I started talking relatively calmly but the anger intertwined In my voice pretty quickly.

"You neglected me, called me horrible things, tried to take the one I love away from me and so much more", my voice was rising in volume.

"And now I'm supposed to just forgive you and come back to the family for your own benefit?!", I was yelling now. Clay grabbed my hand and intertwined my fingers with his. "You listen here young man we-", father started.

I was about to yell at them again when rose put and arm on my shoulder. "Stand back kids, you guys have suffered enough from these assholes so I'll take it form here", she gave my parents a nasty glare.

We backed up slightly while rose still stood in the same place. My parents looked at her cocking an eyebrow probably thinking who the hell dose this lady think she is.

"I'm terribly sorry to interrupt your little 'talk' with your son, but I want you to know that you are horrible people", she simply said. My parents stared at her wide eyed. "How dare you say something so incredibly disrespectful! I am the-", my mother raised her voice at rose

Rose waved her off "yeah yeah your the queen whatever. But also you wouldn't be in this situation if you had just accepted your son for who he was from the very beginning"

My dad rolled his eyes. "But being a fag isn't exactly normal", he mumbled. Rose stared at him. "I'm sorry, did you just call your son a fag?", she looked him in the eyes.

You could see he got a bit nervous. "No?", he lied.

"I cannot believe any of you. You guys really are the most disgusting, arrogant and self centered assholes I've ever met!", she scolded. My dad mumbled something I couldn't hear.

Rose looked like she was about to kill someone.

Rose walked towards them making them back out into the rain. We stood in the door now to watch what happened. Rose took a deep breath and took a step closer to my dad

Before punching him straight in the face.

He groaned in pain as a nosebleed came rushing down his face. "What the fuck?!", my mother yelled. Rose smiled "that's what you get for being homophobic assholes!"

She turned to us. "Clay pass me the frying pan!", she walked closer towards us. He scurried inside and soon threw a round object towards her which she caught.

It was raining outside and my parents were getting drenched. Clay's mom held the frying pan firmly in her hand.

"Now, GET THE FUCK OFF MY PROPERTY!", she yelled and started chasing them with the frying pan like a yelling at them like an absolute maniac. My parents screamed and started running. We all laughed and cheered her on as she was running barefoot after my parents with a frying pan.

Eventually she had chased them away and she came back. "They are not coming back here ever again that's for sure", she went inside with us drying her feet on a nearby towel.

I was so happy I ran up and hugged her.

"Thank you", I said. She smiled "Oh honey of course, I mean someone has to chase homophobic parents off with frying pans", she laughed

Then she continued on like nothing of the previous events had happened. Clay came from behind me and hugged me. "Wanna make out later?", he whispered.

"That sounds nice", I whispered back.
