3rd person POV:
"God why is it so hot out?", George complained.
It was most likely one of the hottest days of the year. The sun shining brightly in the sun, although all the windows were open and a fan on they were all dripping in sweat.
"This actually seems like a perfect beach day", Rose stated aka Clays mother. Drista shot up out of her seat. "Let's go to the beach!", she excitedly said.
Clay who was laying on the sofa fanning himself nodded. "Sounds like a good idea", he stood up as well. George also got out of the sofa to help out and pack.
"Okay Drista and Clay you pack the beach bag and the other essentials, meanwhile me and George make the picnic", Rose orderd, so Clay and Drista went and started gathering all the beach items. Rose and George headed to the kitchen.
Rose grabbed cutting boards, a knife to cut vegetables with and a couple of other items to put in the picnic basket. "You know how to handle a knife and cut vegetables right?", she asked the brunett standing next to her.
"Yeah, since my parents were gone most of the time I cooked a lot myself", he explained. She handed him the knife and a few vegetables. Meanwhile she took out the bread for the sandwich.
George rinsed the tomatoes under the cool water, following with the other ones too. "I've wanted to ask, didn't you have any maids or anything?", she turned to the boy.
"Oh, we didn't have that since my parents wanted me to be independent", he carefully cut the tomato.
"That's probably the only good thing they've done", Rose laughed. George laughed along with her. They continued preparing the food and chatting.
Meanwhile Drista and Clay were rushing around trying to find everything. "Drista! I found the towels!", Clay yelled.
"Good, I'll catch them!", she yelled back and got a couple of towels thrown towards her. The siblings were unusually good at working together when it came to packing. They had a certain way of doing it and they had been doing it that way for years.
Drista went to put the towels in the bag when she got a bottle of sunscreen thrown at her. "Hey! Watch it!", she yelled slightly annoyed.
"Sorry Dris!", Clay laughed. The dirty blonde haired girl rolled her eyes but put the bottle of sunscreen in the bag.
Finally, everything was packed and ready. Drista and Rose were wearing two long beach dresses with their sun hats. Meanwhile Clay and George just took their swimming trunks and a t-shirt, they were also wearing sun hats.
So now they were on their way towards the beach, Drista happily skipping along. Clay and George walking hand in hand.
Finally, they felt the familiar smell of salt water, sunscreen and wet seeweed. The sound of crashing waves and people swimming.
The beach.
Lots of people were at the beach, probably the whole town. But since it was such a small town it wasn't too crowded.
"Hey Clay! Hey George! Over here!", a familiar voice yelled. Sapnap jumped up and down and waved at them. Walking towards them they noticed basically all their friends there.
Placing down their towels, they sat under the umbrella Bad and Skeppy had brought. Drista was ready to run into the water before her mother stopped her.
"You need to put on sunscreen first", she sighed but smiled. Drista groaned "but moooommmm"
Clay grinned at George. "That means you too Georgie", he grabbed him from behind. George tried getting out of his grip. "Clay! Put me down this instant!", he laughed.
