The phone call

It was a normal afternoon in the armed detective agency office block, with everyone doing their normal jobs. The only sound in the room was the munching of sweets and pages turning from the desk where ranpo was sitting while reading the daily news paper and eating a pack of sweets.

That was until a phone began to ring. No one could figure out whose phone it was until atsushi suddenly exclaimed "I think it's Dazai-kuns!" All eyes went to dazais phone. Dazai, who was currently laying with his head in his arm on the table, fast asleep, not yet awoken from his slumber by the ringing phone. "Should we answer, whose it from?" Asked yosano. "It's from a 'Fyo-kun'? I think we should accept, do you agree" As Atsushi said this he received nods from everyone except the sleeping Dazai and annoyed kunikida. "We shouldn't it would be a waste of time, we have documents to do." loud sighs were heard throughout the room. "kunikida it could be someone important, don't worry I'll just tell them he's busy." "Fine"

The agency members gathered around atsushi, while kunikida sat at his desk looking at them with disapproval. Atsushi cautiously clicked accept.

Привет, любовь моя. Как ты?" (Hello my love how are you?) A Russian voice said, leaving the agency stunned and making kunikida get his head out of his work and look towards the rest of the agency. After a few seconds the voice spoke again. "осаму дазай? ты в порядке?" (Osamu Dazai? Are you okay?) Atsushi looked around at the other members with a questioning expression in which they all shared, while kunikida stood up and started to walk towards the others the phone, as much as he wanted to work he couldn't help but get both unfocused and curious.

"Umm.. hi we are dazais co-workers, I don't know if you understand us but dazais sleeping right now so he can't pick up the phone at this moment." Atsushi explained nervously. "Oh,okay then, may you explain why you picked up his phone then?" All the members were relieved that he could speak English/Japanese and ranpo answered, "oh we were curious and also the ring tone was interrupting our work" Silence. "Ok, anyway I shall call osamu later. Please tell him to call me when he wakes up, this call is very needed." Kunikida followed by saying: "should we wake him up or can it wait?" After a second the Russian voice replied with "nyet nyet it's perfectly fine it can wait" The agency were confused but atsushi still said "if it's okay, we'll go now. We have paperwork to do"

Silence. "Very well then I have stuff to do too so it's about time I go too, bye then stranger" was the last thing they heard as the person ended the call

A silence filled the once calming air for a while "So are we going to discuss that?" Asked yosano,breaking the silence.
