Next morning.
Hiroki wakes up. He holds his head in pain, as the fight from yesterday still fucked up his body
Hiroki:Where am I?
Hiroki observes the area around him. The room was not big as his room. The room wasn't small at all and had all the necessities a person would need. Bed,tv,bathroom all in 1 room
As hiroki takes a look at his phone that is standing on the table, he hears a voice.
Min-noo:Finally awake sleeping beauty?
Hiroki sees him holding 2 cups of Boba and taking a seat beside him.
Min-noo:I didn't know what flavor you liked, so I got mango
Hiroki:Boba is Boba shit will always be good.
Hiroki takes the Boba from him and drinks it immediately.
Hiroki:damn so I lost that badly huh?
Min-noo looks at him with a bruh face.
Min-noo:I almost died just by fighting you. If I didn't take you serious in the end I would have lost.
Hiroki:don't think il let this stop me from having a rematch with you soon.
Min-noo feels a shiver and grins. Remembering how Hiroki fought unconscious and then decided to ask the obvious question.
Min-noo:How did you fight like that?
Hiroki looks at him, confused. All he remembers was getting kicked to the ground that knocked him out he didn't remember his body actually fighting unconsciously.
Hiroki:What are you talking about? You kicked me to the ground and knocked me out, remember?
Min-noo looks at him shocked as he clearly remembers he did that, but he realized that hiroki doesn't remember what happened after that.
Min-noo:Yes, I did that, but after a few moments after that, you got back up like it was nothing.
Hiroki looks shocked. Internally, he starts to remember what gun told him about fighting unconscious.
Hiroki:WAIT, you're telling me that I was basically fighting unconsciously.
Min-noo:That explains why you didn't even say a word after getting up. You looked like a robot with a mission to kill me. I had to go all out just to stay alive. It was a fun fight, too.
Hiroki:it wasn't enough to beat you, tho...
Min-noo: Dude, you're like a year and a half younger than me. You're just entering your prime right now, so don't sweat it.
Hiroki looks down at his damaged fist and clinches them. He wants to get stronger already. Meanwhile, hiroki looks like a baby that got his favorite toy taken away
Min-noo observes him and ask the following.
Min-noo:Do you hate yourself?
Hiroki looks at him and shock. He didn't expect a question like this.
Hiroki:I don't hate myself.
Min-noo:No, but your eyes show me no emotion or life in them.
All I see is hate and a hunger for strength.
Hiroki, not liking his tones, yells back
Hiroki:That isn't bad. Is it?
Min-noo:It's not bad, but it's unhealthy. That amount of rage and hate isn't something to be proud of.
Hiroki clenches his teeth and fists to the point that it starts to bleed and glares at him
Hiroki:You don't know what I have been through!. What it feels like to have the very important people in your life betray you with no hesitation
Min-noo:No, I don't know what you have been through, but i know what it is like to have someone very close to you betraying you, like if you were nothing.
Hiroki looks at him with shock. He went through something similar like me running through his mind.
Min-noo:I'm not looking for sympathy points here, but here is my story.
A girl I used to love made a promise to little old me that when we grow up, we marry each other. I was naive back then, and I will not lie. So when she got into college, I worked hard to enter after her and failed the first time. So she started without me.
By the time I made it to college and I was in my first few weeks, I found out that she was getting railed by an upperclassmen and that the teacher was on it as well. He was the fuckboy of the campus so naturally he would do that type of shit.
I didn't think that the teacher would actually bring me to the room where she was getting fucked by the dude. And the did the deed right in front of me.
Hiroki was silent through all this listening to his words with wide eyes. The hate that was inside him was gone, followed by sympathy.
Min-noo:I was angry. Angry at her and the teacher. Angry at everybody. Angry at myself. Until I met him. The man I consider my brother Ryuhei.
He taught me how to move on from that event. He taught me how to get strong. He taught that I shouldn't let one moment in my life change who I am for the worse.
I moved on. I did not look back in the past. I just kept moving forward with no hesitation. It was the best decision i have ever done.
I made peace with myself. I could careless what they do now, do you know why hiroki?it's because I decide my own life. The bad memories don't decide who I become.
Hiroki:How did you forgive them like that?!How did you forget so easily?How did you move on so easily after all that!
Min-noo:When you forgive, you do not erase the memory. You simply chose to forgive to free yourself from the bitterness.The memory stays not to be forgotten but to be remembered as a valuable lesson.
Min-noo:I found love hiroki. I found someone who truly values me for me. Not for who I become or what I am.Someday you will too. Someday, someone will break that cold heart of yours to feel loved once more.
Trust me when I tell you to forgive and move on. Because it seems to me your still hooked on the past.
Hiroki didn't say anything, but the tears on his face were enough to be said. Min-noo just hold puts his hand on his shoulder and pats him.
Hiroki:Thank you
Min-noo:Anytime, bro. Are you ready to reach your own closure now?
Hiroki then wipes his tears and does a genuine smile.
Hiroki:Yeah, I am. But first, let's get some food I'm starving.
Hiroki gets up from the bed and stretches but regrets it instantly as his body isn't at 100%percent yet, so he limps away from the room
Hiroki:Oi, you coming.
Min-noo looks at him and just grins
Min-noo: If anything, you're gonna have to keep up with me
Min-noo speeds past him running to the kitchen with hiroki limping on his trail
Hiroki:Oi what the fuck?
