~1st Person POV~
I woke up to a beam of light hitting my face. I looked at a clock that sat on the nightstand and groaned. It was already 8:00 so I knew we would have to get ready soon. I turned my head and came face to face with soap. For a second I almost forgot about last night. I felt a smile creep on my face. He looked so peaceful for no reason. I sat up slightly and got out of bed, grabbing some clothes before heading into the bathroom. I stepped into the shower and turned on the water, sighing as I felt the warm water trickle down my body. As I lathered shampoo into my hair, I heard the door open. Before I could peek out the curtains, Soap stepped into the shower behind me.
"Got room for one more, Bonnie?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my waist. I giggled and nodded. He smiled at me before placing a kiss on my cheek. I rinsed the shampoo out before letting him step into the water. We spent maybe 20 minutes in the shower. When I tried to step out of the shower I felt Soap grab onto my waist and pull me back to him.
"What're you doing MacTavish?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck. He just leaned down and placed a kiss on my lips, holding me close.
"Just wanted one more kiss before we go out there" he said, smiling into the kiss. We stayed like that for about 3 minutes before getting out and drying off. I put on a black army shirt and some black sweats. Soap grabbed some gray sweats and a black shirt that hugged his muscles in a good way. After we got our shoes on I threw my hair up into a bun before we headed out.
We raced into a building and looked around before we spotted Ghost, Alejandro, and Rudy. We approached them and sat at the table they were at. I cleared my throat and looked over at Alejandro, who looked dead serious.
"So uh, what are we gonna do today?" I asked, looking around at everyone who sat at the table. Alejandro looked at me and shrugged
"Nothing much, we just have to wait to receive orders or further information from Kate. Go ahead and explore the base if you want." As soon as he said that I got up and left.
I was so excited to go see the Boxing ring. Don't get me wrong , 141 had their fancy base but Los Vaqueros had a nice ass boxing ring. I had been in it once while I was on a mission with Alejandro and Rudy. I heard someone following me and when I turned around, I saw Soap and Rudy following me. Rudy caught up to me and slapped me on the back
"Will I finally be able to kick your ass today Laswell?" Said Rudy, who had a wide ass grin plastered on his face. I playfully shoved him
"You wish you could kick my ass. I'm the best of the best. I'd hate to remind you that I swept the floor with you." I snickered. He playfully gasped before starting to run again
"Last one there smells like shit!" He yelled out. I let out a laugh before sprinting after him.
Once again I kicked Rudy's ass and I'm currently holding soap down with my thighs around his neck. "Admit it MacTavish! I'm better at hand-to-hand combat!" I yelled out. He tried to pry my legs off of him but then tapped out. I loosened my grip on him and felt him grab the side of my thighs, smushing the sides of his face with them.
"They're so soft Lass~" he whispered to me. I felt my face heat up before I let him go entirely. I helped him to his feet and looked over at Rudy.
"It's sad that I kicked yours and Soap's ass." Rudy chuckled as Soap stuck his tongue out at me. As we got out of the ring Rudy looked over at us and had a wide grin on his face
"If I'm gonna be honest, you two look like a couple." Stated Rudy, looking at the two of us. Blush spread on my face like wild fire and Soap just gaped at him. Rudy let out a laugh before walking through the door
"By the way Cariño, I know you like movies. So if you wanna know where the rec room is, it's by the mess hall." And just like that he left Soap and I alone. Soap looked over at me and picked me up
"come on Lieutenant, let's go watch a movie." He didn't care that people saw him carrying me, he just wanted to watch a movie.
For some reason, Alejandro owned the movie Ratatouille. So there we were, watching Ratatouille and cuddled up next to each other. We knew nobody was gonna come in so we took the opportunity to hold each other close. It felt nice to be close with someone. We were halfway done with the movie before we saw someone walk in. It just so happened to be Rudy. He took one look at us and started to laugh.
"I knew it! I knew you two were a thing!" He exclaimed. I grabbed an empty can and threw it at him. He just sat there letting out a wheeze.
"Shut it Rudy! We're trying to watch ratatouille! " I whisper-yelled. He just smiled at me and nodded. He looked at me dead in the eye and asked me
"Can I tell-" before he could finish I interrupted
"No Rudy! We don't really want anyone to know yet. We're just trying to keep it subtle." Soap looked down at me and smiled, gently rubbing my side. Rudy let out a sigh and said "Fine, goodnight guys" before heading out. I looked up at soap and checked my watch
"I suppose we should head to bed now." I said, starting to rise from the couch. Before I could fully get off, Soap pulled me to him and held me tightly.
"Just a few more minutes lass, please?" He begged. I giggled and nodded. After the movie finished, we got up and walked back to our room, hand in hand.
As we lied down on the bed, Soap pulled my body close to him. He placed a kiss on my head before turning off the lamp that was on.
"Goodnight lass, sweet dreams" He said, moving the hair from my face. I kissed his lips gently before snuggling up with him.
"Goodnight Soap."
