Nessa was fast asleep curled up against Jeremiah's side by the time the movie ended. He wished he could fall asleep next to her, but he knew he couldn't because the bonfire was in less than 15 minutes and Steven, Conrad, and he had made plans to attend. He tried to slowly slide out of bed while checking the time. He reached over to pull the covers back over her when he was finally out of bed. Nessa slowly opened her eyes to find the dirty blonde staring at her.
"Where you going Jere?" she asked softly still asleep. He shrugged his large shoulder, answering her, "some bonfire"
The long-haired girl closed her eyes again but replied to him. "Nite Jere" she whispered tiredly.
"Goodnight Ness" he smiled sadly at her.
The shocking sound of Nessa's door slamming open shook her awake. She sat up in her bed and stared at the source, a very dressed-up belly with a bright smile on her face.
"Wanna got to the bonfire?"
So, 20 minutes later, she was at the beach with her cousin. She had to rush through her makeup, which consisted of lipgloss and mascara. She wore a silk green dress that reached her mid-thighs, a white bikini underneath, and white platform boots. belly also used highlighter to highlight the tip of her nose and the inner corners of her eyes.
Belly didn't give her much time to fix her hair, so she had to settle for her loose curls on display. Fortunately, it didn't require much upkeep because it wasn't too messy, to begin with. belly and Nessa walked onto the beach, both feeling uneasy.
"Yo, gas station girl" a boy that Nessa didn't know, called out to the younger girl. Belly seemed to not be really interested in him, her gaze somewhere else.
"Hey where are you coming from?" he asked belly.
"Uh, another party" belly answered, looking towards Nessa for help, but she was too busy looking for someone she knows.
"Sweet, here, take my beer" he offered the can, making Nessa come back to the conversation happening in front of her.
Before belly could object, Nessa snatched the drink from his grasp as it spilled onto the sand. I gave him a sarcastic smile. The random guy returned to belly.
"Um uh you got a boyfriend at home?" he asked. Not being able to take a hint. Idiot. belly, who was clearly attempting to avoid the conversation, looked out and noticed her brother.
"Steven" she yelled, making him stop walking with the girl beside him and turned around.
"What are you doing here?" he looked at her, then noticed the short raven girl next to her.
"Nessa? Weren't you asleep?" he kind of yelled.
"I invited her, who the fuck are you?" the dude in front of the two girls asked.
