Rehab

Bakugou couldn't stop replaying the events that had occurred before he left for rehab. The worst part about it?

Deku had taken off right after it. He kissed him and then just took off out of the house without any word, no text, or anything.

So, now here he was, in rehab for the next few weeks, without anyway to communicate with the outside world and he couldn't stop thinking about it.

He had never considered Deku more than a friend, but it felt like in that moment everything was flipped upside down and now- not only was the kiss replaying in his mind, but so were his fantasies of Deku. The only unanswered question was whether or not Deku meant to do what he did.

Was it accidental? Maybe he was going in for a hug and they miscalculated how close they were to each other?

No- that didn't make sense. That kiss lasted way longer than an accident. Beyond that, why would he take off right after?

What about Uraraka? Wasn't Deku dating her? Did something happen that he hadn't told Bakugou about? Jeez, this was eating him alive.

Bakugou was torn out of his thoughts.

"Hey- lights out." a nurse called.

"Right-" Bakugou responded as he turned the small lamp off. Night one. He could do this.

"Hey Deku!" Uraraka cheered. Izuku looked up from his phone- which he had been glued to since he kissed Bakugou.

"Hey." He responded, "why so upbeat?"

"I got accepted to Hawks' agency! I'll be studying under him for the next few months!" She smiled happily at him. Izuku wore his heart on his sleeve.

He was guilty, he had cheated on Uraraka with Bakugou.

He couldn't hide his emotions well despite his best efforts, but now didn't seem like a good time to break the news to her, so he fought hard.

"Wow! That's amazing! I'm happy for you." He attempted a weak smile. The strain of covering his emotions went unnoticed by the excited girl.

"I have to tell Mina and the others! I'll see you later!" She hugged him quick and skipped off. Izuku sighed in relief when she disappeared. He had no idea how he was going to tell her, but he knew he had to. He wasn't in love with Uraraka- he was in love with Katsuki. He had been for a long time, but Bakugou had been with Kirishima and Izuku couldn't break that up. But now that Kirishima had done the deed for him- he took his opportunity. The cost of it though? Shame, regret, and guilt. Uraraka was still dear to him- he just couldn't believe himself for leading her on for so long. At one point- he had become comfortable with the idea of being with her, she was good to him, being around her made him happy.

However, when he was around Bakugou? It was different. He had butterflies, he felt warm inside, he would be excited to help him with things, and genuinely interested in hearing about his day. These feelings were not what he felt with Uraraka. That's when he knew, he wanted Katsuki.

Despite knowing what he wanted- he ran the moment it happened. Out of fear probably- that's the only thing he could think of.
