[Ashley's Pov]
We were on our way to school when I decided to tell Jase about the guy I met yesterday.
"Why didn't you ask for his number?" She laughs.
"I can't, it's embarrassing," I exclaimed.
When we pulled into the parking lot, Jase was looking around.
"No Lydia or Stephanie today?" She asked, sounding amused. I was surprised, they would always be around to pick a fight with us.
"I'll meet you in class," I shouted to Jase before heading to my locker.
"Okay." She replied.
My locker was fixed and I quickly took out the stuff I needed. I was going to climb up the stairs when I heard squealings.
Curiosity got the best of me. and I find myself walking towards the source. The path to the entrance was blocked by the girls. I tapped one of the girls in front of me.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"You don't know? There's a really hot transfer student!" She exclaims.
Right after that, she began to scream at the top of her lungs and I winced a little. I tried to stand on my tippy toes to see who's the new transfer student. The door opens and the screams got even louder. As the girls parted ways for the new student, I caught a glimpse of brown hair.
I was still on my tippy toes until someone knocks my arm and caused me to trip. Someone managed to stop me from falling.
"You okay?" He asked.
When I look up, I was surprised. It was the guy from yesterday! Before I could answer his question, he had placed his arm around my side.
"Sorry ladies, I'm taken." He stated.
What?
They began to protest but left nonetheless. I look at him for an explanation but he gave me a wink.
We walk to class together when he said we were in the same class. I looked around the class, there weren't any damages unlike what I saw yesterday. Well, what did you expect when your principal's a witch.
I look up to see Jase waving at me until her gaze moved towards my side. She got up from her seat and moved to the back. What is she doing?
I went to my seat and he took a seat beside me. It was kinda awkward until he broke the silence.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"I'm Ashley," I replied.
"Ashley." He said to himself and smile.
"I'm Christ, nice to finally meet you." He said.
The class felt extremely long today. I have no idea why I'm even freaking out but whenever he leans over to ask something, it felt like I forgot how to breathe.
"You may be dismissed." Mdm Wilson announced.
The class cheered. Finally, I'm starving! I was going to catch up with Jase until someone stopped me.
"Would you mind showing me around the school?" He asked.
"I-I" I hesitated. "Sure, why not?"
I really don't know how to reject people.
"Ashley?" Jase called out.
"Sorry! I kinda want to show Christ around." I replied.
"I see." She stated.
