[Jase's Pov]

When we reached home, we sat on the sofa and began to chat.

"After our fight, I've been thinking a lot." Ashley began. "I would have left with you under normal circumstances but the thought of leaving Christ was painful and I just can't do it."

"Even though you two just met?" I questioned.

"I know it sounds strange but it felt that way. Maybe it's a mate's bond." She explained.

Hearing that puzzles me even more, I had felt that way too. The thought of leaving Dylan scared me and it's only the third day we met.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." She apologised suddenly.

I let out a smirk before replying, "I forgave you long ago but I wasn't going to let it slide that easily."

"What?! You're so mean! I was suffering from your cold treatment!" She exclaims.

I stuck out my tongue and we laughed it off.

"So, what's your relationship with Dylan? Is he your boyfriend?" She asked excitedly.

"Are you sure we've known each other for ten years?" Sarcasm laced my voice. "We're just friends."

"But..." She pouted.

"This conversation ends here and you need to get some rest, look at you!" I stated.

"Fine." She huffed.

I got up and went to my room. I can't believe we just missed school because of a stupid fight. I was going to start reading a book when the thought of our conversation came to mind.

I could understand why Ashley would felt that way but I couldn't understand mine. I just met Dylan and I can't believe I'm already opening up to him. He is driving me nuts!

I lost myself in the books and forget about it. When the sun has set, I was tired and very hungry. I make my way into the kitchen only to find two familiar faces. I was going to speak when they all turn around at the same time.

"W-Why are they here?" I asked.

"I invited them over for dinner," Ashley answers my questions.

"Oh," I said.

I turn towards Dylan and pulled him into a corner so we could talk.

"When did you arrive?" I asked.

"An hour ago." He replied.

"Since when do you talk to Ashley?" I questioned.

Before he could answer my question, Ashley had interrupted.

"Are you gonna help?" She asks.

"Sure."

She handed me an apron excitedly and we began to cook. It hasn't even been a minute when Christ started flirting with Ashley and they kept giggling like a four-year-old.

"Seriously?" I commented.

We were setting up the flour for the pizza when Ashley suddenly took a handful of flour and threw it on Christ. We laughed. The big bad Alpha-to-be getting dumped with flour was a sight to witness. He decided to have his revenge and threw a bowl of flour. Ashley managed to duck in time and the flour hit me instead.
