Camila's POV

Shit, my head is pounding like hell. I shouldn't have drank that much last night, I don't even like alcohol, well not that much anyway.

I don't even remember what happened, only bits and pieces. I honestly hope I didn't do anything reckless.

I groaned as I felt someone jump on top of me. "Kaki! Wake up!" I ducked my head under my pillow, really not wanting to be disturbed.

"Soooofiiiiii," I dragged her name out, "stooooooop!" I heard her giggle before I was attacked by her little kiddie fingers! Why does she always resort to tickling me? Do I always look tick-able

I pretended to laugh because honestly her little fingers weren't tickling me.

"Okay, okay! I'm up." She laughed before hopping off of me and heading out of my room. Sucka!

I laid back down and closed my eyes.

I walked downstairs in my PJs, which consisted of a tank top, that revealed a little bit of my stomach and some booty shorts.

I made my way into the kitchen to find something to eat, I walked over to the refrigerator to see if I could find anything because I didn't see anything on the stove. When my mom cooks, she usually leaves food on the stove for me, I guess she didn't cook this time.

I found a microwaveable croissant at the far end of the freezer. I put the croissant in the microwave and set the timer at 1 minute waiting for it heat up as I poured myself a glass of orange juice.

I took a sip of my juice before stretching and turning towards the kitchen table. I stopped right in my tracks.

There, sat at my kitchen table, was Lauren with her chemistry book out and reddened cheeks. She was sitting at the table quite awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck.

I gave her a confused look, why was she randomly sitting in my kitchen? Oh my god did she see me stretching? Oh my god I look a mess! She's going to think I look like this every morning!

"Um, your mom let me in. She left about 10 minutes ago. She told me to just wait until you got up." She said looking down at her chemistry book, answering my silent question.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, moving from behind the kitchen counter. Lauren looked up for a quick second, staring at my exposed legs before looking down at her book again, her cheeks getting darker along with her neck.

"I um- it's Saturday, you-you're supposed to tutor me." I quickly realized that it was, infact Saturday and I was definitely supposed to tutor Lauren.

"Right, right! I'm gonna get changed. I'll be down in 15 minutes?" She nodded, not taking her eyes away from the book. She was cute but being a little weird.

I went upstairs and took a quick shower. I then threw on some high waisted jeans and a white and blue sweater crop top. I didn't bother to put on any make up or shoes.

I grabbed my chemistry book and headed back downstairs to where Lauren was sat at the kitchen table.

"I'm sorry about that," she shook her head. "It's fine."

"So when is your test?" I asked, opening my book to the page she was on.

"Monday," she answered and my lips curved downward into a frown. This would be our last tutoring session and we wouldn't be hanging out anymore.

I really enjoy spending time with her, maybe I'll ask her on a date after we finish? But what if she rejects me? I don't think I could handle being rejected by her. Not to sound cocky or anything but I'm the one that's always doing the rejecting when I get asked on dates, it's never the other way around the this is an entirely new ballgame.
