A/N: You better put your seatbelts on
"Come on, we have to" Yeonjun teased, caging up the poor Beomgyu between his arms.
"Nooo".
Yeonjun was still standing with Beomgyu in front of his house. All Beomgyu wanted to do, was not to enter his home for the next few hours, but Yeonjun wanted the contrary.
"Are you for real Jun?" the younger whined distressed, letting his arms fall on his sides.
Yeonjun hummed with a smile, "Mhm. You want to terminate the contract, right?"
The other boy of course wanted that at all costs. Exhaling loudly, he answered "Yeah but-"
"Then let's pretend to be boyfriends. Remember, we agreed on this", Beomgyu frowned again, as he got interrupted.
"My dad - he will kill me once he finds out I published the contract. And also for the fact of being gay". Yeonjun frowned and straightened his back. Yeah, Beomgyu wasn't wrong.
The raven-haired placed both of his hands on Beomgyu's shoulders and glanced into his hazel eyes, "Well that's why I'm here. Trust me, this way we can convince them to end this" Yeonjun could tell Beomgyu was a little frightened by the idea, which was understandable. He would protect Beomgyu at all costs, that is for sure.
Before entering the house again, Yeonjun gave Beomgyu a quick hug, he hoped it could help him a little. Beomgyu sighed in the embrace, the warmth of Yeonjun's chest making him feel already better.
They both entered home again, curious of what their parents' behaviour looked like. Yeonjun was the first one to step into the living room, Beomgyu following after.
Hoomin and Soobin were found with gloomy faces sitting on the couches, wine glasses in their hands. Ha-ri instead sipped with a horrible face at her Soju bottle. Beomgyu had to suppress a laugh because it looked way too dramatic. At least it seemed to be less bad than expected.
"...so we should we figure it out, when my son comes back here-" Hoomin looked up as he noticed the presence of the two boys, "speaking of the devil".
Beomgyu grinned a little, while Yeonjun was holding a firm eye contact with his father. "Hello, Mr. Choi" he greeted Hoomin without breaking eye contact, "I came here to discuss with you about something it has been weighing me down since long".
Hoomin nodded, motioning with his glass that he should enter the room. "I'm sure it's about the article, my dear son-in-law. I'm sure we will figure it out how to handle the fake news-"
"I know it's not fake news Sir" Yeonjun informed, finally glancing over to the other old man "I am well aware of the contract that lives between these two families."
Hoomin's mouth formed into 'o' shape, while Soobin raised an eyebrow.
"Well uhm that shouldn't be a problem then" Hoomin spoke firmly, "caring for Ha-ri is all that matters".
Soobin still didn't speak a word, making this whole situation weirder. He just scanned the two guys with an emotionless face.
If he knew that it was me publishing the contract, why wasn't he saying anything about it?, Beomgyu asked himself, as he nervously bit the inner flesh of his cheek.
Yeonjun was sick and tired to hear the same bullshit though, he couldn't wait to make things clear "My point is, that the rest of the article wasn't fake news either".
