'Other Adam' as I think I should refer to him is different, sure he is rough and a little sadistic sometimes but I'm still alive which is more than the other girls could say. So something has changed, it must have done. Sometimes he just comes out, for fun I suppose, other times when Adam is angry, overly tired, things like that. But he has good control over it, I'm seeing more of the real Adam, the nice guy.

"Nat, go grab me a drink would you?" Adam was scribbling down idea, either for a song or his team on The Voice.

"What do you want?" He just shrugged, I'll bring him a coffee. He always likes having a coffee. I wandered over to the kitchen area, we were at The Voice set again it's a little like a second home here.

"Hey darlin'" Blake greeted, his voice booming around the small room.

"Hi Blake." My voice was so quiet in comparison.

"What ya doin'?"

"Making Adam some coffee, did you want anything?"

"Got my own sweetheart." He smiled, holding up that red cup. "Can't Adam make his own?"

"Of course he can, he's just busy right now." I rolled my eyes, I feel like maybe Blake and Jesse have teamed up to try and incriminate Adam or something because it's starting to get annoying.

"Doin' what?"

"Go ask him yourself." I snapped.

"No need to get stroppy. I'm lookin' out for ya."

"Just fucking stop then!" I shouted, instantly regretting it. Not because of the look on Blake's face, that filled me with a strange sense of pride, but because of the footsteps I heard thundering down the corridor.

"Leave her alone." Adam growled, pushing past Blake to see me, giving me a once over before hugging me close to him.

"I didn't do anything." Blake's tone was defensive and I know that'll get Adam irritated.

"Adam, just drop it. Go and work, I'll bring your coffee in a minute." Adam's head whipped round to look at me. Big mistake. Maybe I shouldn't have said it in the way I did, because Adam had that spark in his eyes that always meant bad news. "Please, please, baby, let's just go." I pleaded, hoping it would break through to him. His hands were clenched into fists and it is only a matter of time before he punches. "Adam, baby, please. We can go home. Anywhere. Please." Blake seemed shocked at my sudden change in behaviour. Adam took a step forward and I did all I could think of. I stood in front of Blake acting as a human shield.

"Are you cheating on me with him?" The anger was hidden, his voice sounded cold and had a distant quality to it.

"Adam, you know I wouldn't do that to you. We need to leave. Me and you, please, before you do something you'll regret." I warned, trying not to aggravate him further.
