"Feeling better, Stanley?" He nodded. "Good. Resetting seems to help."
I guess he doesn't know about all the settings and sliders and stuff.
He left his office and picked up the bucket. "Finally, yes. The bucket! Yes, yes, yes! I love that bucket." That made Stanley giggle a little.
Let's see, what ending should he do now? He could do the Mariella Ending... Yes, he found that one hilarious when he brought the bucket.
He needed a laugh right now after the last one.
So, he did the usual. Going to the meeting room. Then he passed the broom closet.
"Coming to a staircase, Stanley and the bucket walked upstairs to the bosses office." He went downstairs and started passing through the repeating rooms.
Blah blah blah, he realizes it isn't his bucket and goes insane.
Then it becomes a story about Mariella, who finds Stanley on the floor.
"This man had no bucket. Of course he'd gone mad, ranting and raving about a narrator describing all of his actions and how everything is predetermined, and free will is an illusion and it's all just a video game. It could all have been prevented if only he'd taken his bucket with him!
Perhaps he didn't even realize he'd forgotten his bucket at home in the first place. 'How cruel the world can be,' Mariella thought. And she hugged her own bucket even tighter. But of course she had no time for this. There were a myriad of confusing problems she would soon have to confront at work for which her bucket would provide absolute guidance and total clarity on everything. 'Heck yes,' she thought to herself. 'My life kicks ass!' And she backflipped all the way to work."
That ending always cheered Stanley up. He didn't do that ending super often because he didn't want it to lose its humor.
"THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END"
