~The station~

Connor was talking to hank about the new case. Nines walked over and when connor looked up he smiled, he smiled really wide. "Hey nines! This case is another homicide. The victim's name is Margaret Lawson. She has a husband and 2 kids. She was so called attacked by a field of androids. This might be our biggest case yet. So we'll need all four of us to investigate." Connor stated as he fixed his tie. 

Hank just rolled his eyes, having to be around gavin was hell. Just recently he started staring connor down after the revolution. Like a horny fuck.

"Gavin and nines are partnered up but captain fowler ordered all of us to work on this." Connor finished. Gavin soon finally walked outside of the break room, showing his face to the rest of the three. Gavin shyly put his head down, acting like he was listening.

'Nines and connor are both so calm right now.. I want to press it so bad.' Gavin thought to himself. The back of his head was slapped. Hard.

"OW WHAT THE FUCK PRICK!" He yelled as he turned to see who it was. Of course his rage instantly went down when the scary man was facing him. Glaring.

"Oh.. nevermind." Gavin stated quickly and quietly. "Listen next time. 'Prick'." Nines said. He faced towards connor and gave him a nod telling him to continue. 

"It would be best if we go now. Time is running out and we have a week to find out why a 'field' of androids are coming for this woman. If we don't figure out why this is happening, they'll hate us again and think that we all lied about becoming peaceful." Connor stated. Nines and hank nodded.

Gavin stayed quiet. 

The four left and got in hanks broke down car that was made to be left in the 1980's.
"Hank your car belongs in the dump, jesus." Gavin rolled his eyes as he said it. Hank also rolled his eyes, and said "Well if my car is so bad then why is yours in the shop? For repairs or to be condemned." Hank recoiled. 

~The Investigation site~

They pulled up to the house, it was really beautiful on the outside. The inside is another story.
The windows were boarded up and the same fucking symbol was covering the walls. 

"Over 1 million rA9's... Must have been obsessed obviously. I'll check the kitchen." Connor said as he walked to the kitchen to investigate. The three nodded and nines slowly turned towards where connor was.

Connor can scan the room he was in and find things, sometimes the entire floor depending on the house. 

Nines was better, he scanned the whole house, upstairs and downstairs, the basement, attic. He even could scan outside. He had a wider range of everything.

Damn, stop being so obsolete.

Gavin walked over to connor and looked at the sex books that were on the counter. Connor looked over at the floor. A burnt knife and a disassembled arm. It was covered in blue blood.

It was an android arm. 

"Holy fuck! Wow... Margaret must've been mad." Gavin slightly chuckled once he saw what connor was looking at. Connor slightly smiled at gavin's remark. Gavin walked over to connor and put his hand on connor's shoulder. 

He jumped a bit, surprised gavin was even near him right now. Connor picked up the burnt knife. He immediately gained so much information about it.

Connor put it in a plastic bag and looked up, even on the ceiling was the words rA9 over and over again.

"RK800 get over here." Nines said as connor looked over to him. He came towards nines and looked at what he was looking at.

Hank come from upstairs. "Guys, there is fucking nothing up there, it's clean.. tidy, no blood or weapons... They only did shit down here." Hank said as he walked over to them. 

"Right Lt. It's like that because it was an ambush, there was a field of androids here, but they were hers. She murdered them all." Nines stated calmly. Hank looked so confused, gavin also. Connor just was frozen.

She lied. 

"So... Wait.. what.." Gavin said as he shook his head trying to think about what nines just said. 

"Margaret made a report about being attacked by the androids. She never said what kind. The neighbors saw her with androids months ago, happy. I'm assuming that they should know something about what happened, this is a massacre. rA9 is basically only known by androids so she had many of them. They must have been captured and wanted to get out.." Nines paused. Connor furrowed his eyebrows. 

Nines turned slowly around, a door. It was shut and it was quiet. Connor looked over at it. He realized why nines was staring at it.

"... Shoot the door." Nines said quietly, loud enough for connor to hear him. Connor nodded and pulled out his gun. Hank and gavin stood back and looked around. Why are they so stupid. 

Connor then shoot the door twice. A scream came from behind it. Nines rushed in and busted the door down. Connor rushed in after, the victim tried escaping through the window. Nines quickly grabbed her leg and then dragged her back in the house.

Margaret threw things from her left and right at nines. He dodged her and stood her up to cuff her.

Connor analyzed her and she was guilty of course. Why would she hide in the damn house.

"Oh fuck! She's still here?" hank asked.

"Yes and injured. Now we have to get her well then interrogate her." Nines stated. 

~Back at the station~

They called the hospital and went back to the station to fill out the paperwork. 
"Great work nines!" Connor praised. Nines nodded and went into the android room... For androids. It was basically onto the streets.

Connor just shrugged and went into the break room to get hank some well deserved coffee.
Reed followed.

"Hey tin-can. Make me a coffee." Gavin spat out as he sat down in the break room chair, eyeing connor.

Connor shrugged and just nodded. Gavin furrowed his eyebrows, wow.

'Maybe if I just... Tap it. Will anything happen?' Gavin thought once more. He really wanted to feel that LED of connors. He was too scared to touch nines' LED, nines is scary.

"Here you go gavin!" Connor held out the coffee to gavin, gavin was jumpscared out of his thoughts, he took it out of connor's hand and nodded as a thank you. 

"Connor... What does your lil' LED actually do?" Gavin asked, as curiosity overwhelmed him. Connor smiled and tilted his head, that fucking puppy face again.

"It changes, if I am stressed or calm and happy, or if I'm in danger... I have other features but those are the major ones, the colors are y'know, blue-yellow-red. I don't really know what else kamski might have added in my LED." Connor smiled.

"Oh... c-can I touch it?" Gavin hesitantly asked. Connor smiled and nodded. He leaned down a little and gavin slowly put his hand up to it.

"Fuck."
