~Hank's house~

(PS you can enjoy some fluff here first, :) to make up for my troubles)

There was a knock on the door and the rain was pouring harder and harder. There stood our famous deviant hunter, who is now deviant.

Hank is quick to open the door, looking at the android with worried eyes. "Connor you dumbass, why are you soaking wet?!" Hank asked as he grabbed connor's wrist and brought him inside. Connor didn't answer and he took off his shoes and jacket.

"Connor's home!" Sixty yelled, sixty called hank's house- home... That put a warm feeling in his gut, the one he doesn't have. "Answer me now boy." Hank pressed on, connor blankly stared at him with his puppy eyes.

"Okay, I walked away from a crime scene and I got stabbed by a glass shard. Nothing too extreme. Also, I'm not a dumbass, I didn't ask why am I soaking wet when it is clearly raining, no, pouring wet cloud tears." Connor said in a voice hank couldn't describe.

When did connor get sassy and talk back with such attitude?

Hank then rolled his eyes, his head was hurting and sumo had licked his face one too many times. Sixty was in long pajama pants and a grey T-shirt and slippers that were too big for his own feet. He hugged connor and connor analyzed him.

"Why did you get shot?" Connor asked, noticing two bandaids on his forehead in the position of an X. "Hank shot me again but nines fixed it. You seem tired, are you okay?" Sixty brought connor over to the couch while hank went into his room and shut the door.

Oh well, it was midnight anyways, no work tomorrow either, hank can sleep in.

"I can tell you everything once nines arrives." Connor said in a semi-glad tone to be home and see his brothers. At the sound of his name, nines came from the bathroom, wearing a black turtleneck long-sleeved shirt and jeans. He came to the couch and sat next to connor also, smiling slightly.

"Oh... hello nines." Connor said, almost a whisper. He then had to retract about what he was going to say. If he even mentioned something about gavin and had a sad face, he knew nines would crush gavin into pieces. He didn't want gavin dead or hurt but...

Nines nodded as a hello and he stared at connor, his serious face planted and sixty looked really worried but that was his face all the time.

"I'm assuming you both want to know why I'm coming home late and frustrated." Connor said.
They both nodded. Connor inhaled rather dramatically.

"Me and gavin-"

"I'll kill him." Nines cut connor off, the name gavin rang in nines' head, he already thought the worse, but who could blame him? His older brother looked terrible and sad and he would kill anyone for connor.

"No no, okay both of you guys can't get mad when I tell you this, I'm fine, honest! Now, me and gavin were working on a case and when I found the little girl, she jumped at me and we fell through the attic window. I was fine and she fought me with a glass shard in her hand. I was able to connect to her before she stabbed me in the shoulder. I was too overwhelmed and my stress levels went up and I had to go into stasis to calm down. The girl stopped attacking me and I woke up to gavin yelling at me but I know he was just worried about me, thinking I died... But something inside me just snapped and I yelled at him, then I walked off and took the longer way home." Connor ended, tears forming in his eyes.

Sixty looked sad like connor and he held his hand, their chassis showing. Nines nodded and put his hand on his shoulder, connor looked at his lap and didn't meet their eyes.

Nines knew what was happening. "It's not your fault con, we all have to adapt to these emotions. You were just feelings strong about him at that time. I feel like he should apologize for yelling but it's up to you." Nines reassured him, sixty nodded and grabbed both of connor's hands in his.

"He's right connor, we don't have work tomorrow but talk to him tonight, and go somewhere with him tomorrow evening. You guys will be fine!" Sixty smiled at him, connor lifted up his head and smiled at both of them.

"You guys are the best." Connor spoke, his voice a little glitchy from crying. They all group hug but pull away as a buzz came from connor's pants.

"Oh right! They gave me a phone for some reason..." Connor forgot why he had a phone but hank bought him one so he could text and make sure connor was okay on missions.

"Oh... Gavin texted me." Connor voice got quieter and his eyebrows furrowed. Nines nodded over to sixty and they both got up from the couch. "We'll get you some more thirium, you're low and you need patching up." Nines said as they headed to the kitchen.

Connor nodded and reread the text over 6 times.

~Their messages~

Gavin: I'm sorry con, I didn't mean to yell at u..... Can we meet up tmr?

Connor: Uhm...

Gavin: THANK GOD U ANSWERED IM SO SORRY CONNOR

Connor: You're welcome, and it's okay.

Gavin: ... Sooo ur answer?

Connor: Uhm...

Gavin: it's "uhm"? really...

Connor: YUP! okay bye bye now

~End of messages~

Connor exhaled deeply and wanted to die. He didn't give gavin a real answer but he couldn't think at all. Pings kept coming from his pocket as he turned off his phone, he knew it was from gavin and he was worried.

Nines came back over with the thirium and sixty was taking off connor's shirt to get to the wound. Connor reached for the thirium but nines pulled it away, squinting his eyes, and nines raised connor's head up and sixty patched his shoulder. Nines poured the blue blood into connor's mouth, making him drink it.

Once they were both done, sixty put connor's blue stained white shirt in a laundry basket and gave him a DBH hoodie (something I need). "There! You're all fueled up and your chassis should go over the wound and fix it manually. Now, you need sleep!" Sixty exclaimed, they all had to share the couch but they said, "Since you were here first connor, you get the couch!"

Connor had refused and said he'll stand but nines laid on the couch first, and grabbed connor's wrist and made him lay down on top. Sixty giggled at connor's blue face and then sixty gladly laid on top of connor, making shifting noises they were all somewhat 'comfortable'.

Sixty was the first one to go into stasis, and nines smiled while also being in stasis. Leaving connor awake and alone. He couldn't move to grab his phone but he did close his eyes and email gavin.

Connor: I'll see you tomorrow gavin. <3
