It's been three days since I was fucking traumatized.
Dario and I have been cleaning up the mess that Marcello left behind. I had some men kill his to avoid any future problems and then I had others clear out the mansion he was staying at.
They found a letter that was addressed to Gianna and since everyone knows she's my fiancée I was given the letter.
I enter her room in the hospital where she still has to be for a few more days. I can tell that it irritated her when she was told she couldn't go home yet or do much movement due to her bullet wound.
"Miocaro." Gianna opens her arms for me to hug her and I do it immediately.
She gives me a big kiss on the lips before I sit down on a chair beside her. I pull the letter out from my suit jacket and hold it out to her.
"Marcello left you an unfinished letter before he died." I give her context as she hesitantly takes it from my hand.
I watch as she reads what is written on it and then I see a tear fall onto the paper. She looks up at me and folds the letter handing it back.
"Throw it away." She angrily wipes her tears away. I take the paper from her immediately and I put it back into my suit jacket.
I'll burn it later.
I stand up and take a seat beside her, holding her tightly in my arms.
"He's dead but still pisses me off. I hate him and the fact that I feel a bit sad." She hugs me back tightly.
"It's okay to feel that way. He was your little brother and unfortunately a horrible person at the same time." I soothingly run a hand up and down her arm.
"I want to go home with you." She suddenly says and I sigh because I knew she was going to say this at some point.
"I know, my love, but you only have a few days left here and you need to stay." I give her a kiss on the head.
She pulls away from me and stares at me basically begging me with her eyes to take her out of this place. As much as I want to give in I will not because I love her too much and I need her to be okay.
"Please behave and listen to me. You're staying here until the doctor says it's okay for you to leave." I tell her in a way in which she knows that I'm very serious and I don't want her try anything.
"I love you and I need to make sure you're fine. I can't risk anything especially when I was so close to losing you. I would go insane if I lost you." I become soft because I can never be too serious or mad at her.
I hold her chin and give her a soft kiss. She softly sighs and obliges.
"Thank you, sweetheart." My words cause her to smile and grab my face.
"I love you." She doesn't let me respond when she slams her lips on mine.
It turns into a make out session very quickly and I have to stop her before she gets too far.
"We have a pending talk." I inform her and she raises her brows.
__
I gently place her down on her bed and she gives me a kiss on the cheek for it.
The day finally came where she gets to leave the hospital. The excitement in her eyes when the doctor informed her made me excited for her as well. Words can't explain how much I love this woman.
She asked me to bring her to her house also known as Dario's. I still don't plan to leave her side and she's probably going to get sick of seeing me every single morning and night.
"I love you. Thank you for taking care of me." She breaks me out of my thoughts as I lay beside her.
"I love you and you don't have to thank me it's what I should be doing." I reach a hand to the side of her beautiful face to caress her.
It's scary to think that I almost lost the privilege of looking into her soft and gorgeous brown eyes. She lightly smiles looking at me in a beautiful way.
"Do you want to move in with me?" I suddenly ask since I feel like now might be the right time.
"Akim left and bought a house of his own. If you don't like it, then we can move wherever you want and feel comfortable."
She moves her hand to the side of my face and begins caressing me as well. Her touch is magical because I feel so much comfort and warmth when I'm with her and when she's touching me. I guess this is what people are referring to when they say a person is their home.
Gianna is my home so wherever she wants us to live will be perfect.
"I'll gladly move in with you. We need to move in together anyway since we're getting married soon. Unless you want to be roommates with my papa." She chuckles and I kiss her hand.
Speaking of us getting married, we had to move the wedding date a few weeks further because I want Gianna to heal as much as possible first.
"Your house is perfect." She states watching me.
"Our house." I correct her giving her hand a final kiss.
"Our house." She repeats happily before getting closer to me.
"We're going to be so happy." She informs me her eyes becoming sleepy.
I lay on my back on pull her on top of me. She hugs me tightly and rests her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her and give her a kiss on the head.
"So happy." I have a feeling that now that we don't have any problems and people getting in the way it will be the start to something good.
I'm going to spend the rest of my life beside her in so much content. I'll make sure that the rest of our lives together will be euphoric and amazing.
She can take the lead to how she wants to live our lives and I'll gladly follow after her. I'll do anything to see her beautiful smile and the way it reaches her eyes while beaming at me in delight.
"Good night, malyshka." I say even though it is clear that she has already quickly fallen asleep.
