It's been a few days now since my engagement with my sweet Gianna.
We decided to keep it a secret for now. We were going to arrange a dinner with her father to tell him, but then she said she also wanted to tell her friends the same day and then it turned into her wanting to invite everyone close to us.
She wants to surprise them all with the news and I'm perfectly fine and happy with that.
I was scared shitless that she wasn't going to accept. She looked very taken back when I so suddenly proposed. I became a bit scared which is something that has never happened in my life.
I felt like I was in heaven as soon as she accepted. I know that my parents were watching me proudly from wherever they are.
I've only seen my beautiful fiancée for an hour today in the morning. I already miss her but I can't go to her now since I'm on a little "errand" and it's nighttime. She's probably going to bed by now and I don't want to disturb her.
"Here." Nikolai hands me and everyone else an earpiece.
"Remember that everyone can hear everyone." He informs us before looking down at his laptop and doing something.
I put the earpiece in as I watch everyone else do the same and become prepared.
Amado is looking down at his laptop with live security camera footage on the screen from the streets all around the place we will be entering. Morelia, Vladimir, and Akim are checking their guns and putting their other weapons in place.
After I've made sure everyone is ready, we step out the SUV except for Nikolai and Amado.
We walk toward the club with Morelia ahead of us and I've noticed that she seems weird and almost in a bad mood. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing since she's the killing machine among us all.
We make a turn toward the empty and dark alleyway beside the club without anyone seeing. The people outside are too shit faced to notice anything, and Amado is watching the cameras around to warn us while deleting the footage of us.
"Go to the far end of the building until you see an entrance." Nikolai speaks into the earpiece, and we follow his instructions. A staircase leading underground appears at the far end of the building just as he said, and we go right in.
Morelia smoothly and quickly knocks out the one guy that was standing at the door. Vladimir pick locks the door and then Morelia walks in first. After a while Vladimir and Akim go in and then I wait before finally going in last.
There are men and women everywhere drinking, making illegal deals, or sniffing lines of cocaine. Then there are women who are obviously sex workers of some sort.
I quickly scan the place as I make my way to the bar. Akim is drinking a glass of something while sitting at a booth with Vladimir who has a woman with red hair on his lap already. Morelia is on the other side of the room sitting at a table while talking to some guy.
