"Where are we going?" I finally ask, glancing over at Leo.

"Somewhere." He keeps his eyes on the road, driving.

"Where?" I demand to know because I'm confused.

He literally showed up just as I was walking out of the house, grabbed my hand, and made me get into his car. I don't know why I let him without asking questions first.

"A nice restaurant." He responds as I look out the window at the almost dark sky.

I don't ask any more questions because I don't want to annoy him yet. I'm going to wait until we get to this nice restaurant that he's talking about.

Leonid holds my hand in his as we enter the restaurant. It's a very luxurious and high-end restaurant with a lot of rich looking people in it.

For some reason the staff immediately acknowledges him with a nod of respect and then they do the same to me. He either comes to eat here a lot or he owns the place.

"Why are they looking at us like that?" I whisper as I get closer to him.

A small faint smile appears on his lips as he simply shrugs.

We get to a table that's in a more private area where we won't be stared at by the rest of the people eating here.

He pulls a chair out for me, and I take a seat. I watch him sit down across from me and he stares at me. I give him a questioning look because I still want to know what sort of power he has over these people.

"It was my mother's restaurant." He informs me and that makes sense.

"It's beautiful." I compliment because it's true. It's a very nice-looking restaurant and I'm sure the food will be delicious.

"Thank you, milaya."

"What does that m-"

I get interrupted by a waiter. "Good evening, Mr. Ivanov and Mrs. Ivanova."

What?

"Good evening." I reply with a smile because I'm a respectful person, but I'm confused on why he called me that.

I look down at my left hand to my ring finger. There isn't a big shiny diamond there.

I feel Leo's stare on me, and he looks a bit amused.

We then proceed to order our food and as soon as the kind waiter is out of sight, I turn to seriously look at Leonid.

"I have two questions." I inform him and he gives me a pretty smile along with his attention.

"What does milaya mean?"

He shrugs his shoulders.

"It has many meanings." He tells me innocently obviously avoiding to actually answer the damn question.
