Since Akim decided to come back home yesterday without saying a word I packed my things and brought Nikolai and Vladimir along with me.

Amado still has some things to do over there before moving here permanently.

I took Akim's actions as my sign to come home now. I have to get my shit together and slowly put everything and everyone back into place.

I've just arrived at Dario's house, but no one knows that I've returned or that I'm here. I left Nikolai and Vladimir to settle into their apartments and rest. I don't need their assistance at the moment anyway.

I step out my car and look up into the cold night sky filled with stars. I straighten my suit jacket after closing the door and I make my way toward the front door of the huge mansion.

When I'm just a few steps away a woman walks out the house with a panicked look on her face. She then accidentally bumps right into me.

"I'm sorry." She apologizes not looking at me as if she isn't mentally here. The woman then proceeds to quickly walk away.

That was fucking weird.

I make my way right into the house since she left the door slightly opened. I walk straight into the living room causing the room to go quiet because of my presence not being expected.

Dario, Akim, and a woman with jet black hair are the first people I see. I'm guessing she must be Morelia, the assassin my brother and Dario are working with.

I then notice a familiar face.

Boris Gusev.

He is a thief, murderer, and just a whole ass criminal. No one in the underworld likes him if I'm being honest. He's creepy and annoying as fuck. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten himself killed yet.

I then notice her. Gianna looks beautiful like always and I very badly missed looking at her. The problem is that she isn't looking at me. She doesn't even seem to notice my presence which tells me that I might have lost all the progress I made with her.

"Leonid Ivanov, glad to see you're out of prison." The annoying fuck comes up to me and sticks his hand out. I shake it because I'm not rude or mannerless when I have no reason to.

"I'm glad too." I respond as he turns to look at everyone else in the room.

"I have to go now, but it was nice talking to you Akim." He tells them and then looks over at my brother who is also clearly annoyed by his presence.

He just gives him a nod.

"Priyatno provesti vecher." Boris tells everyone with a creepy ass smirk before leaving.

I keep my eyes on Gianna who watches Boris leave with a pensive look. I don't like it, and I think I might be the one to end his useless life after all.

"Leonid, take a seat." Dario welcomes me in, and I take a seat, a little further away from his daughter.

She's very quiet and she hasn't looked at me still. It's all pissing me off, but I did this to myself. Now I need to face the consequences and deal with them.

Dario and Akim begin to talk, and I notice the looks Morelia and Gianna exchange before they both stand up.

"We'll leave you men to talk." Gianna excuses herself with her father who gives her a simple nod before going back to telling Akim something.

I watch Gianna leave with her friend who both seemed to be worried or concerned about something.

"Leonid, I apologize if Gianna was a pain in the ass. I know how she can get when things don't go her way." Dario grabs my attention and I shake my head.

"She was great company." Very great company but I messed it all up.

__

I watch my brother leave the house before I stand up getting ready to do the same.

"I have to go." I inform Dario just as I see Gianna and her friend walking to the front door.

We had a very long conversation with Akim that had to do with businesses and Marcello's planned death. The time went by quite fast and it's now later than I thought.

"Keep me updated on Marcello if you can." Dario tells me patting my back before leaving.

I immediately head for the door that Gianna walked out of just moments ago. I need to see her up close and I need her to look at me.

I'm not going to say anything to her because I want to give her a bit more time before I begin to bother her, and possibly beg her to give me at least a bit of her attention and touch.

I walk out the house to see her watching her friend leave with her back turned to me. I take that as my opportunity to get closer to her.

Just before I get to stand right behind her, she turns around and bumps right into me. I smile internally.

The little "accident" causes her to finally look at me. She looks me right in the eyes the way she always does and I fucking love it.

A slight cold breeze brushes her hair and causes a strand to fall across her pretty face. I subconsciously move out the way gently with my hand and she closes her eyes for a second as if she missed my touch as much as I missed hers.

Then as if realizing what is happening, she opens her eyes and stares at me for a second before backing away from me and rushing back inside her house.

I stand there with slight smile on my face for a few seconds. I actually think winning her back won't be as hard as I thought it would be. As soon as I have her the way I did, I'll make things official with her. As official as they can get and then I won't let her go ever again.

I don't care who I have to kill in the process, but she will be mine the way she said she was.

I walk toward my car and leave the estate.

Now that I sort of have things mentally figured out with Gianna, I have to find out what Akim is hiding. It has to be something serious because he just disappeared yesterday and then I was informed he came back home. He didn't even spend a night there because whatever it was that I made him think about must have really triggered him in some way.
