It had been a few weeks since Will paused things with Mike, after a million texts of convincing him nothing was going to go back to normal Mike finally stopped texting Will and gave him his wish of leaving him alone.

Even though Will initiated the break, it was for Mike's sake. To make sure he didn't see him dying. Will didn't want that for the man he loved so dearly.

He'd thought about it, thought about texting him hundreds of times, but the anxiety filled his chest and made him shut his phone off and swear to never think about it again.

Staring at his phone he sighed and flicked through his sketch book where he was met with the many detailed images of Mike. Making him bite his lip and shut the book.

The door swung open to reveal his nurse who visited him for the fourth time this morning. She smiled warmly at him as she walked over with his lunch, "Hey Will, I have some good news." She was practically buzzing with excitement.

Will's mood was brightened at these words, "I've completely recovered?" He said sarcastically.

She laughed a little as she set up his feeding tube pack, "Recovery takes time darling, you just have to be patient." She smiled softly, "I'm actually here to tell you that you can go home for two days tomorrow."

Will gasped and grabbed her hand, "Please tell me it's the truth."

"Would I ever lie to you?" She questioned, resting her free hand on her hip and raising her eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, when you told me I was getting better." He frowned letting go of her hand.

"Will you are getting better, now behave yourself or your two day leave might be reconsidered." She smiled, winking at him as she left.

He didn't care about the 10% chance right now, he just wanted to get home as soon as possible.

"Then we just end it with a brief conclusion."Jane smiled as she shut the notebook and looked over at Mike.

Mike smiled and nodded along with the rest of the group, "Thank god we finished this group project." Max sighed as she leaned on Lucas as he wrapped his arms around her.

Mike looked at them and his smiled disappeared, "I think I'm gonna go." He sighed getting up from his seat and lifting his bag.

Jane looked up at Mike and watched him leave, "I'll be back in a minute okay?" She announced to the group before running after Mike.

Mike was turning they keys in his car before a knock sounded at the window making him jump, he rolled down the window and looked at Jane, "What's up?" He asked.

"I should be asking you that." She laughed, "Anytime Max or Lucas do anything affectionate you run out of the room like a scared virgin."

"Whose to say I'm not a scared virgin?" He asked avoiding the question, looking up at her with his eyebrows raised.

Jane scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Will's not very good at being quiet." She laughed as she watched Mike's expression soften.
