CHAPTER 03: Party

"you'll be fine, i promise"

Hyuka said, before ringing the door bell. Taehyun was nervous as hell. The door swung open, revealing a pink haired boy.

"oh hi Hyuka, hi Taehyun"

"Taehyunie, this is Yeonjun hyung"

"H-Hello"

Yeonjun smiled and stepped aside to let them both in. Taehyun entered inside and noticed there weren't many people.

"Hey there"

"Oh hi Soobinie hyung !! Taehyun, this is Soobin hyung"

"hello"

Yeonjun grabbed Soobin's waist and smiled at him. Taehyun assumed they were dating. He looked around and saw other people, sitting in the living room, playing games.

Taehyun turned to look at Hyuka with a questioning look. Hyuka came closer to his ear and whispered.

"I only know three people here"

"you're kidding........ and who are they ?"

"Yeonjun hyung, Soobin hyung and Beomgyu hyung, we're really good friends"

"YOU'RE WHAT-"

Taehyun paused when he felt people staring at him. Him and Hyuka walked towards where the others were seated and started playing along with them.

"you said Beomgyu hyung will also be here"

Taehyun whispered.

"I don't know...i thought he'll be here too, since those three are best friends- oh there he is"

Taehyun looked up and saw Beomgyu standing with a hand in his pocket and the other one holding a glass. It looked like he had been here since the party started.

"you wanna talk to him ? okay"

"what the fuck- no- wait-"

"hi Beomgyu hyung !!"

"hello Hyuka"

"This is my cousin Taehyun, Taehyun this is Beomgyu hyung"

"h-hello....hi"

"Hi.... Taehyun"

Taehyun could faint right at the moment. Beomgyu's voice was deep and he looked....hot.

He was wearing tight black jeans with a black shirt which was unbuttoned from the top, revealing his chest. Taehyun locked eyes with him for 5 seconds and looked away, fetching his phone from his pocket to not make it awkward.

"let's take some pictures together guys !!"

Yeonjun announced, standing up. Everyone agreed and stood up, clicking photos with each other.

"I want one with Beomgyu hyung too"

Hyuka said after having his photo clicked with all four of them and with everyone individually. He elbowed Taehyun, signalling him to get a photo clicked with Beomgyu too.

Hyuka stepped out when he was done and slightly pushed Taehyun towards Beomgyu. Their eyes met again and this time, Beomgyu slightly smiled. Taehyun just grew more nervous. His whole body started shaking and he felt like he forgot how to walk.

Just when they posed for the photo, Beomgyu's phone started ringing. Beomgyu checked it and looked apologetically towards Taehyun.

"I'm sorry, i gotta take this"

He said and walked towards a room. Hyuka could see the disappointment in Taehyun's face.

"let's try that"

Hyuka said, dragging Taehyun towards the snack table to cheer him up. Beomgyu came out of the room in a hurry.

"Hyungs !! i gotta go"

"was it your dad ?"

Beomgyu nodded and Yeonjun and Soobin walked towards him.

"take care"

He nodded and smiled before walking out of the house. Taehyun noticed Yeonjun and Soobin sigh when Beomgyu left. He couldn't guess what it must be for and shrugged it off.

Taehyun and Hyuka sat in the car, letting out a tired breath.

"that was fun !! what do you think about it ?"

"yeah...it was"

"I'm glad...what do you think about the hyungs ?"

"he's... he's nice..."

".... I'm not talking about Beomgyu hyung..."

"oh...... they're... nice ? and friendly ?"

"i know right !!!"

"yeah...oh by the way"

"hm ?"

"remember when in the morning i was looking at Beomgyu hyung and you said that i wouldn't want to date him ?"

"yeah ?"

"why did you say that ?"

"actually...i don't know... he's... he's kind of wierd you can say ? i think there's something going on in his life and i don't know what it is..."

"o...khay..."

Taehyun started driving, nodding, still confused. He didn't find anything wierd about him. Well...who knows. It was just the first day after all.
