CHAPTER 06: Bully

"Beomgyu hyung !!"

Taehyun shouted, waving his hand at Beomgyu. Beomgyu smiled and walked over to sit beside Taehyun. It's been a month since Taehyun joined uni and him and Beomgyu got a lot closer. Maybe because they shared almost all the classes. 👀

"did you do your homework this time ?"

Beomgyu pressed his lips together, blinking his eyes at Taehyun. Taehyun shook his head and shifted his notes towards Beomgyu. Beomgyu giggled and started copying down the homework.

Taehyun didn't know Beomgyu was this soft. When he first met Beomgyu, he gave him those creepy cold guy vibes. But now that he's getting closer to him, Beomgyu is getting more and more comfortable around him.

He didn't know why and what was weird about him that Hyuka mentioned cause he never witnessed anything like that except the car incident. Beomgyu still often showed up with bruises but Taehyun thought it was normal to have fights when you're in uni.

He never questioned Beomgyu on that because he noticed the uneasiness in his expressions whenever that topic came up. However, Soobin and Yeonjun didn't like all this.

They knew everything about Beomgyu and they knew it won't be good if Beomgyu gets attached to Taehyun. But how can they stop him ?

After so many years, they've finally been able to see their Beomgyu happy and actually making friends. They didn't want to break them apart even if it was the right time to do so. It'll be too late if they wait more.

They sat in the cafeteria, laughing together while eating their meals. They were interrupted when Beomgyu's phone started ringing. Beomgyu checked the caller ID and rolled his eyes, picking it up and walking out of the cafeteria.

"where did he go ?"

Taehyun asked, still staring at Beomgyu's figure that slowly disappeared. Yeonjun sighed and put his chopsticks down.

"i- i don't know...."

"hyung...i feel like there's something that you all know but i don't"

Taehyun finally asked what he had been holding in from the time he got here. Hyuka looked up at Taehyun, knowing he realised it too. Hyuka was clueless himself but he never digged too much into it.

"look Taehyun...i don't know if I'm capable of telling you about this...and... maybe you should wait..."

"wait for what ?"

"i don't know....the right time maybe ?"

Taehyun furrowed his eyebrows in disappointment and looked down, playing with his food. Yeonjun stood up and left the cafeteria with Soobin following him.

"it's ok Taehyun-ah... maybe they don't feel close enough to us yet... don't be upset okay ?"

Taehyun nodded and both of them left the cafeteria too. They went their class but Taehyun noticed Beomgyu was still not there.

"huening...you go...i have to go somewhere-"

"to find him ?"

".....I'm just worried"

"i don't think you should....but if that's what you want... you can borrow my notes..."

"thank you"

Taehyun turned around and ran through the hallway, searching for Beomgyu. He couldn't find him anywhere inside the building so he decided to look outside. He went around searching for him but he couldn't find him until he walked to the stadium.
