CHAPTER 20: Fault

(includes kidnapping, violence, guns, gunshot)

Beomgyu walked as fast as he could. He entered the class and looked around for someone. Just when he saw the one he was looking for, the said person looked at him too.

"oh ? hi there Beomgyu"

Beomgyu flounced across the room, grabbing Hojun's shirt and harshly pulling him upwards.

"where is he ?!"

Beomgyu berated, clenching his teeth with his face turning red due to anger. Hojun choked a bit and started laughing. This was the first time people were seeing this side of Beomgyu. They always thought he was shy and didn't like talking to anyone.

"what are you talking about-"

"you. know. very. well !!"

"you mean that new little chick of yours ?-"

Hojun choked and coughed when Beomgyu tightened his grip, lifting him up in the air. His face shook as he gritted his teeth harder.

"tell. me. right. now. or i won't hesitate to kill you right here. in front of all your fake girlfriends."

Hojun was running out of breath. He knew Beomgyu didn't fear anyone and his dad was stronger at the moment. He tapped Beomgyu's fists, blurting out enough words for Beomgyu to understand.

Beomgyu threw Hojun back on the desks, making him groan. He ran out of the class and tried calling Taehyun. And just like he expected, it was switched off. He ran to the parking lot and got in his car, calling his dad.

"dad-"

"is it going to rain today ? you're calling me for the first ti-"

"DAD !! it's not the time for this !! listen...i need you to send some men to the godown at the lotus village !!"

"why do you-"

"THEY HAVE TAEHYUN !! please dad..."

"okay"

Beomgyu wiped the sweat off his forehead and drove faster. As soon as he reached there, he looked around to make sure there were no people. He sneaked in the godown, leaving chalk marks on the walls.

This was the biggest and the most complicated godown. It was almost impossible to find the right way in and the right way out. You'd probably get stuck if you don't have a strong memory.

Beomgyu was carrying a bag with himself. He pulled out a gun and held it closer to his face, sticking his ear to the wall to hear the sounds from the other side.

He heard faint voices of what seemed to be the people of Park Jisung. Yes. Park Jisung was the dad of Park Hojun. His phone buzzed indicating his men were here. He saw them slowly entering and covering up the place to protect Beomgyu.

"listen to me...the boy we're here to save shouldn't even get a scratch... you're dead if he does"

Beomgyu whispered to his men who just nodded and walked further.

"you're what ? his boyfriend ?"

A muscular man asked Taehyun who was tied up on a chair.

"what if i am ?? are you gonna kill me ?? are you gonna threaten him using me ??"

"you got some nerve asshole"

The man grabbed Taehyun's hair harshly. Taehyun whimpered but kept a stern face. Just then they heard a scraping sound. All the people there, including Taehyun looked on the floor and saw a pair of headphones lying on the floor that were most probably slid by someone.

Taehyun smirked and lifted his leg up, kicking the man in the stomach. The man groaned and clenched his teeth and fist.

"you piece of-"

He was strangled by one of Beomgyu's men before he could hurt Taehyun. One of them untied Taehyun. Taehyun ran towards the headphones and put them on immediately. That's when he saw Beomgyu entering the scene.

Beomgyu pointed his gun at the muscular man and walked towards him.

"you messed with the wrong person"

Beomgyu held his hair just like he held Taehyun's but even harder. The man groaned and whimpered. Beomgyu took out his phone from his pocket and clicked the play button.

Taehyun smiled and turned around. BOOM. One down. Two down. Three down. And slowly, all of them were down. The back gates opened, giving way to more people. Beomgyu pulled Taehyun and got closer to his ear. He lifted Taehyun's headphone and whispered.

"follow the green marks"

"what about you-"

"I'll be behind you- GO !! hurry up !!"

"but-"

"GO !!"

Taehyun nodded and ran away, searching for marks so that he can reach the exit. Beomgyu shot a few people and ordered his men to take control while he ran away too, knowing Taehyun was alone.

Taehyun reached the exit and waited for Beomgyu. He still didn't remove his headphones, knowing the fight was still going on inside. He was losing his patience and getting worried when he finally saw Beomgyu.

He ran towards him and hugged him tightly. Beomgyu held Taehyun so tightly and snuggled his face in his neck.

"are you fine ? did he touch you ? did he hurt you ?? tell me-"

"hyung..."

Taehyun started crying, burying his face in Beomgyu's chest.

"hyunie...did they hurt you ??"

"n-no *sob* i- i was scared"

"I'm so sorry love... I'm really sorry...i- i should've been alert... I'm sorry... it's all my fault-"

"no... it's not your fault hyung...i have to get used to this now...since I've decided i wanna stay by your side-"

"hyunie....this...this isn't safe...a-are you sure you can...do this ? i...love you so much and I'm being so selfish right now because i don't want to leave you but...but being with me means-"

"hyung...you were never selfish...and yes I'm sure...i wanna be with you...for the rest of my life...no matter what happens"

Beomgyu wiped Taehyun's tears and then his own, hugging Taehyun again. Taehyun hugged him back before pulling away. He lifted up the headphones he was holding in his hands.

"they helped"

"thank god...i wasn't sure if i would be able to do something...and that's the only thing i could think of..."

"you're a genius"

"hehe..."

Beomgyu touched Taehyun's hair and ruffled them slowly, pouting. Taehyun chuckled and held Beomgyu's hand, placing a kiss on the back of it.

"I'm really fine hyung"

"I'm glad"
