The bouquet fell from his hands and he stepped back, confusing Taehyun.
"I- I'm sorry"
Beomgyu said in a shaky voice and turned around, running out of the restaurant. Soobin ran behind him immediately while Yeonjun decided to stay with Taehyun and Hyuka.
Taehyun was still shocked. Tears started rolling down his cheeks and his body felt weak. He heard the faint voices of Yeonjun and Hyuka but he couldn't focus on anything.
He fell back on the chair and held his head tightly. Hyuka knew exactly what was happening with Taehyun. He didn't waste any time and hugged the boy, digging his face in his stomach. Yeonjun rubbed his back, trying to help him.
Taehyun focused and rubbed his eyes, clearing his vision. That's when he heard Yeonjun's voice.
"I'm really sorry Taehyun...i don't know what happened to him suddenly...i...he...he likes you too okay ? maybe it wasn't the best time-"
"h-he...he said he was sorry- *sob* is he leaving m-me ?"
"no Taehyun...shh...breath okay ? inhale......exhale...come on.. breathe with me"
Yeonjun noticed how Hyuka was calming Taehyun down and he suspected there was something that was going on with Taehyun too. It looked like he saw a nightmare-
"are you alright Taehyun ? I'm really sorry...i shouldn't have pushed you to confess"
"n-no hyung... it's alright... it's not your fault...he looked happy but then...he suddenly..."
Yeonjun remained quiet and Taehyun realised there was something he didn't know. There were 'sorrys' written all over Yeonjun's face. As if he did something he knew wouldn't work out.
"hyung...is there something... y-you're hiding...?"
Yeonjun slowly nodded, kneeling down beside Taehyun's chair. Taehyun waited for Yeonjun to continue.
"I'm not in the right place to tell you Taehyun-ah... I'm sorry..."
"don't say sorry hyung..."
Taehyun looked away, taking a deep breath. Hyuka gave him some water and Taehyun stood up, startling the other two.
"where are you going-"
"I'm going to talk to him"
"what- no Taehyun-"
Hyuka refused with a worried face. Taehyun placed his hand on Hyuka's shoulder.
"I'll be fine...i promise i can do this alone"
"are you sure ?"
"yeah...100%"
"make sure to breathe !! you sometimes forget that you're a human and you need to breathe in order to survive !!"
"ok mom"
"shut up !"
Yeonjun smiled, still a bit clueless. Taehyun looked at him and then at Hyuka.
"uh...Hyuka...tell him about it"
"t-the nightmare thing ?"
"yeah...i don't want him to feel what i am feeling"
Taehyun walked out of the restaurant and got in his car. He called Soobin on his way.
"Hey Taehyun...are you alright ?"
"yeah... don't worry about me hyung...where is he ?"
"he's at his house...he didn't let me enter and said he wanted to be alone"
