At that moment, time stopped. You know when time slows down in Korean Dramas? Their hair ripples in the wind, their eyes find theirs and they connect instantly. This was my Korean drama moment.

Her hair, oh, how long it was. She has beautiful dark chocolate hair, like a deep mug of thick hot chocolate. Luscious and perfect. Her eyes seem to shine like dark opals glittering in a pile of rocks, standing out in the boring plainness that surrounded her.

Her skin wasn't flawless. She had several freckles from the scorching Australian sun and a small pimple above her eyebrow. But the way she glowed was intoxicating. How can such flawed skin be so perfect? When Korean singers have pimples, many fans say they're no longer flawless. And yet, I find her skin to be just that: flawless and attractive.

Her lips... how could I forget her lips? I could never admit to her how much I fell for her lips. So plump and beautiful. On that day they were rose red. They complimented her skin tone like a professional make-up artist.

I never thought too much about what my ideal girl would be. Casual? Model? Singer? I thought I'd never appreciated beauty in the way I appreciated her.

It wasn't just about her looks. It was how she held herself, how she laughed, and how small dimples would appear on her cheeks when she laughed too hard. How she wiggled her hips adorably when she saw something she found cute. Her outward charisma and infectious joyousness. So perfect.

At that moment, I fell for her. I fell head over heels for her. I said some strange things to her, and I will continue to say even stranger things in my drunken love state.

This is it. She is the one.

The 100% perfect girl.

Lilly Min:

Today is a beautiful day. Nice cool breeze, and a cloudless sky. As Winter fades into summer, we usually get days like this in Sydney, Australia. The perfect weather, my kind of weather.

Well, it would have been the perfect day, if it wasn't for the fact that I have to give my cousin a tour of the city.

Relatives of my father have come down to the big city from rural Queensland to visit us. Apparently, I know them, but I don't remember them. My auntie keeps saying "I haven't seen you since you were this small!" as she holds her hand a metre from the ground.

Luckily for me, my cousin is an okay kind of girl. She always has her hair up and wears crop tops with short denim shorts and flip flops, where she has a little music note tattooed on her ankle. Typical modern rural bogan from my limited experience. The type of sightseeing she wants to do is also very typical.

"Let's see the Sydney opera house! The Harbour Bridge! Can we take a ride across the water? What about that Zoo you guys say is the best in the country? Let's explore the city! Check out some shops... Oh! I've always wanted to go to a Lindt café!" She chatted earlier as we were getting ready to go out.

So, here we are, standing around the ferry pier, The Sydney Opera House to our right, and the Sydney harbour bridge in front of us. To me, the view is decent. But it looks like a normal, large city. I doubt it's even considered one of the best in the world. But Tahlia is ecstatic over the view, bouncing around like a toddler on a sugar rush.

"Are we allowed to walk to the top of the bridge? Can we go inside the Opera house? Let's go to that zoo!" chatting, chatting, and chatting away, like she's been given 24 hours to speak as many words as she can. I roll my eyes as Tahlia turns to take a selfie with the Opera house behind her. I decide to lean against the railing, bored out of my mind.
