I'm running for a reason, but I don't know what it is. Am I running from the cops and the sirens? Am I running from the horror of the corpse? Am I running from my taken away dad? Or am I running from my fears? The fear of loosing someone as close as her. The fear of ever going near my house again. Or the fear of loosing the on person on the other side. I keep running, telling myself I don't know why. And I really don't, but I have a clue it has something to do with you. Karl, my mind runs on you. We've been separated, and I'm unsure when we will return. Maybe I'm running in hopes I will find you again. But you've already said goodbye, and made it clear that there's not a chance of return.

The two walked out of the bakery with satisfied grins on their face. The warm and comforting aura had taken over the two. You could tell they were in a great mood by the crumbs left on their face.

Once they had made it down the steps, Karl apologized for the earlier events.

"Sorry about leaving you. I really didn't mean to-"

"Karl it's fine-"

"Nope! I'm not letting you start this again! Let me apologize for once!"

The two giggle, and Sapnap finally alows Karl to apologize.

"Okay, I'm sorry for leaving you! I honestly didn't mean to I just kind of got lost in the crowd and when the people cleared up I noticed you disappeared. Then when I looked back I saw Tommy and your horrified face! I am so so sorry!"

"It's okay! He's a little... Interesting?"

"Oh please, you don't have to be so nice! Tommy can be a little much, especially to new visitors or citizens."

Sapnap is reminded of the interaction, at first laughing, but remembering the question. His voice rings in his ears, quote replaying over and over and over.

"So what's your story?"

Tommy's question catches me off guard.

"What?"

"Like what happened at home in order for you to get here. What's your trama?"

~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey Karl?"
"Yes!"
"Tommy was talking about something having to happen at home for me to make it here. What does he mean by that?"
The fluffy haired boy sighed, and proceeded to answer the question.
"Well, we all have to come from somewhere, don't we?"
"Yeah but what does that-"
"OH! Do you want to meet my brothers? I bet they would love you!"
"Oh-i- uhh, sure!"
Sapnap allows Karl to get away with not going in depth. He believes some things were better not said, and Karl was a pure example of that. But he knew the topic would eventually come up again, and planned to get a real answer the next time.
Karl starts walking, Sapnap following not short after. Karl can feel Sapnap's eyes on him, so he stops his movement.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that-"
Sapnap brings his hand to cup Karl's chin, wiping his thumb back and forth on his soft skin. The older widens his eyes. His mouth becomes the form of an 'o', as he's so taken aback from the other's actions. He debates leaning into the palm, but before Karl can decide Sapnap pulls away.
