Chapter Twenty-Five: Deals and Ordeals

Dakota's POV

"So let me get this straight....your writing a play about what has happened this year.....god this is gonna be wild" I say as I take a hit from the roach I'm smoking

"Lexi are you sure the school will even allow that" Cassie says a she's rubs her arm uncomfortably, I wrap mine around he to comfort her a bit

"They will, they've green lighted the whole thing...but Cassie...your part of it heavily and I just wanted to warn both of you" Lexi says and I look at Cassie who looks at me then her sister

"Ok" Cassies says nervously and I nod my head

"I'm cool, I'm not in the mix as much to be honest" I say as I put what's left of my blunt in the ashtray, Lexi smiles hugs both of us before leaving

I look to Cassie who is laughing a little at her sister but leans into me, I go to kiss her but she pushes me away

"Go brush your teeth ash mouth" She says as she laughs, i blow my breath in her face causing her to immediately pull away and I laugh hard as I get up

She grabs a pillow and attempts to hit me with it as I laugh at her, I run out of the room and she runs after me with the pillow in hand

At the Creed household

No One's POV

"So why you got me here...I'm supposed to be helping run Mouses business and I don't trust either of you" Custer says as he looks between Cartier and Angela Creed

"We know....we've actually been watching you both...and our daughter for years now so when we tell you that we have a PI on you at all times....believe us" Cartier says as she walks over to Custer

"You've been spying.....but you couldn't get your daughter..or take care of her" Custer fires back causing both the parents to look at the floor momentarily

"Listen white boy we ain't finna play wit you....we know your little friend Fezco was involved in the murder of my brother in law and if you not finna be with us in takin his ass down...then you going down with him" Angela says and Cartier smiles at his wife

"So you want me to help you snitch on Fez...what's in it for me" Custer says and Cartier laughs

"Man you know you finna get immunity right.....already talk to the police so you have no choice but to help...my brother dies and your his right hand....you've been like another brother to my daughter and I will look after you if you just work with us" Cartier says and Custer smiles

"I've been with y'all....well not on everything since you both abandoned your kid..my sister... but I'll help, you don't have to convince me...Dakota already knows about Fez and his little brother Ashtray being involved so no needs to tell her" Custer says and the parents nod

"She's not finna know any of this....here's 20,000 right here, the rest will come after Fez and Ashtray are gone" Cartier says as he hands Custer the money, Custer counts it and nods before leaving the parents alone

"You think this'll work" Angela says as she walks over to her husband who is watching Custer leave

"It has too....ain't no way I'm letting my brother die and not get my revenge" Cartier responds before looking at his wife

Dakota's POV

I sped down the road and break nearly every damn law known to man as I rush to Maddy's house, Nate just pulled a gun on her and left with some stupid ass disk that he needed

I grab my phone and dial my parents number quickly before putting it back into the cup holder

"Hey D what's up" My father says

"Hey dad...one of my friends, Maddy, just had a gun pulled on her by her psycho ex boyfriend.....I'm on my way to her house right now but I don't know how to handle this asshole" I say quickly as I try and make my way through traffic

"Dakota listen to me...is he still at her house because we can send someone there, ion want you gettin shot" My father asks and I hear some shuffling on the other end

"No...Maddy just called and said he was taunting her with a gun he pulled on her and left after taking some disk...dad....I've had run in with this asshole before and I don't want to get charged with assault for beating his ass again" I say angrily as I arrive on Maddy's street

"I know...just give me his name and we'll have something set up" My father sad as I park the car and take my seatbelt off in a hurry and get out of the car with my phone in hand

"Nate Jacobs....his father is Cal Jacobs...I gotta go dad..Bye" I say before hanging up and running to the front door, Maddy's mom lets me in and I rush to Maddy's room to see her curled up in a ball on her bed

"Maddy" I say softly causing her to jump but relax a bit when she sees me, Maddy lunges off the bed and runs into my arms and immediately scoop her up and carry her back to her bed

I lay is down and take my slides off along with my very wet hoodie from the rain outside, Cassie's went home hours ago and when I got Maddy's call I rushed over in nothing but shorts, a hoodie and some Yeezy slides I got recently

"I got you....he won't hurt you ever again" I whisper as well as some sweet nothings in her ear as she cries into my white beater, I wrap my arms around her and lay back on her bed as I feel my chest tighten at the thought of that piece of shit scaring her that much for a damn disk

I cuddle with Maddy as I stare at the ceiling and feel every part of me radiating hate for this guy

I will take you down Nate Jacobs..now I have the power to do so

A/n awwwww shiitttttt, Nate really didn't have to do all that, he really could have just stolen it while she was out of you know....not pull a gun on her like wtf but what can you expect from a deranged asshole like Nate
