my wounded lover (an Inuyasha fanfic)

I AM NOT KIKYO

Its about a day later and Inuyasha was doing better his fever has gone down, thank goodness no ivy drip. He still hasn't woken up but that's OK his body is still healing so I let him sleep. But I still check up on him about every two hours. Its about 8:00 at night when I go to check on him again, he's awake. I walk in and he gives me a look, like he can't belive I am there.
"Kikyo....." he says and runs up and holds me like I might leave
"I am not Kikyo, Inuyasha" I say as I push him away, reluctantly
" Kikyo don't play me like that" he laughs
"I am not kikyo" I growl
"Of course your Kikyo" he growls
"MY name is Kagome, Ka-go-me" I growl
"KIKYO, STOP IT, I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD" He yells
"IAM NOT KIKYO, KIKYOS DEAD" I scream, he looks at me like I shot him
"She cant, your not....." He mumbles
"Inuyasha you should go talk to Miroku" I say helping him out of bed, I take him over to Miroku's room and open the door,
"Miroku, you need to tell him what happen" I say as I set inuyasha down in the chair next to the bed,
"I know, thank you Kagome" he says as he looks at Inuyasha,
'" but that's Kikyo" says inuyasha for the fith time
" no, Inuyasha that's Kagome, she just looks a lot like Kikyo " he says to Inuyasha, inuyasha looks from Miroku to me and back to Miroku,
"Miroku I am gonna let you guys have some alone time" I say as I walk out the door and shut it behind me. I lean against the door and listen to mumbles and the cries of their conversation. After a few minutes I hear silence, I open the door to find inuyasha asleep on the floor and Miroku asleep in his bed. I walk in and grab a spare blanket and pillow and spread it on inuyasha. I then fix mirokus blanket and leave, I go to my room and lay down with Shippo snuggling into my side, sango silently snores next to me, as I drift off
What is this feeling! Every time I go near Inuyasha I get this feeling and butterflies, I mentally growl, I gently flip over, careful of Shippo, so he's sleeping next to my stomach. I lay my head on my pillow and fall asleep.
