⚠️ Smut warning ⚠️

The Car jerked forward and stopped then jerked forward and again stopped.

"What's happening?" Frowning I pressed on escalator but it seemed something was wrong. Pushing the car towards the side road, I climbed out of car and opened the bonnet.

Smoke Bolted out and smacked me in the face as I did, coughing I brushed the smoke away from my face. I grimaced running my eyes over the engine and battery.

Sighing I closed the bonnet and retreated my steps back to get inside the  warmth.

"What happened?" Clutching the steering wheel in my one hand I grabbed my cellphone.

"We'll have to hail a cab" dialing the number of mechanic I pressed on call. But it showed that I don't have a signal.
Beside me y/n turned to me.

"Cab? Are you kidding me. How are we getting a can in the midst of jungle, jungkook?" The roads were empty and dark because there wasn't streets light here. Thus there was nothing in sight also.

"Jungkook...?" I looked at y/n. Her voice was soft whisper and her eyes wide open in fear. Sighing out, I reached for her cheek and brushed my thumb over it.

"It'll be alright, don't worry" she nodded curtly but it was clear she was still hesitant to believe in my words. "Check if you have signal, we have to order for a cab" shuffling through her bag she pulled out her phone.

"It's dead.." pushing my hair back I lean my head on the seat. What we should do now?

"What we're going to do?" My silence was enough answer for her question. Slumping she hugged herself and copied me. "Are we going to be here till morning?" Her quiet voice comes out after a while of silence.

I contemplate for a second then shake my head. "No. I saw a small motel here we can check there" she looked at me in uncertainty. Squeezing her hand I look into her eyes willing to make her feel safe around me. She intake a deep breath and nod.

"Come'n"

The few minutes walked turned into half an hour.

My feet ached under my weight. And my body swing in every direction like a drunkard.

I lazily lifted my eyes up, glaring at the back of my husband head.

"It wIlL tAkE feW mInUtes, this is what you said right, joancock?" I minick his voice with a mocking smile on my lips.

His steps faltered for a moment before squaring his shoulder and continuing like he didn't hear me.

"It should be here" he muttered, I rolled my eyes.

"That's what I'm hearing from an hour now!" I retored.

For a moment I thought about whirling around and retreating my steps. But two major reason stopped me from doing it.

One; the car was lift back and I didn't have the energy to retrace my steps.

Second; it was dark night, and I was alone. And I have Nyctophobia as well.

"It should be here..." His voice drifted off in a murmur, I didn't have the energy to
Respond back.

If it was here then we should have came upon it, but no, the road stretched as long as your eyes could see in the night of dark and either side of it were uneven ground and nothing else.
