There's always a unique beauty that can be found in the night.
Just think about it, the night time is probably one of the most relaxing images one can think of.
The stars,
the moon,
the universe in it's entirety.
It's all beautiful. There is nothing more beautiful than laying in the middle of nowhere, maybe with a best friend, and looking up at the sky. Looking for satellites or shooting stars, pointing out constellations, and absorbing the vast size of the sky and of our world. The night time is a time to be alive, to be free.Unfortunately, it's also the darkest of times too.
Yes, because of the absence of the sun and of light, but where there's no light, there's feelings.Feelings get the best of us. We can feel sad, lonely and yearn for something in the middle of the night. When its most dark. Whether it's human nature or just part of a phase in life, the darkness is insidious. Beautiful and enticing, but harmful as well.
There are two perspectives of the night time; the wondrous looks of it, or the monotonous and dreaded darkness of it. It's like the difference of the full moon and new moon. Complete light, or complete darkness. And you don't know which one you'll get until you take the risk to run and look up at the night sky.
Is the natural wonder of the night enticing enough to risk getting hurt?
The dark side can be fun. But it can also be like a parasite, or a drug; it's addicting.
Don't get hooked.
