Ch.3 Dinah

That night, as Alistair laid in his bed, he kept tossing and turning, he felt a dream coming. In his dream, he was in a house, the same house his mother used to live in back in London, and this house was on fire. He looked around for a way to escape, but he couldn't find any, but he then sees a black cat on the window still. He recognized the cat as Dinah, his mother's old cat. He watched as Dinah jumped through the window and landed on the ground unhurt. He decided to follow her, but before he could touch the window, he heard the door behind him open, he turned around and looked into the eyes of Dr. Bumby. He gave a shriek as he woke up. He saw that he was still in bed, and it was pass midnight.

"You ok?" his roommate Piper Pan, son of Peter Pan asked on the other side of their dorm.

Yes! I knew they would be roommates!

"I-I don't know" Alistair said as he rubbed his eyes "I had this dream, and, it was so crazy".

"Sounded more like a nightmare" Piper said "Well try to sleep again, maybe you'll feel better".

Alistair sighed as he tried to sleep. But he couldn't stop thinking of the dream.

In the morning, Alistair joined his friends in the castleteria for breakfast where he told them the dream.

"That is weird" Maddie said "You think it's trying to tell you something?"

"Maybe" Alistair said "But remember when my mother told us that she survived the fire when Dinah showed her the way?"

The Wonderlandians nodded.

"I think it has to do something with that, but I'm just not sure".

"Try to ignore it" Lizzie said "That's what I do whenever I have strange dreams. Like this one time I had a dream that I got chased by chickens".

Kitty and Maddie giggled.

"But I just ignored it" Lizzie said as she sipped her tea.

But when Alistair looked through a window, he saw a black cat sitting on the window still staring at him. He looked away, and when he looked up the cat was gone. But he just ignored it.

But when he was in Geografairy, every time he looked out the window, he would see the black cat staring at him, and when he looked back again the cat was gone. When he was in Hero Training, he would see the cat watching him on the bleachers, but whenever he tried to look away, the cat was in a different spot, watching him, he was getting uncomfortable. Wherever he went, the cat seemed to follow him.

That evening, the Wonderlandians took a walk in the Enchanted forest.

"I can't believe I got a B- on my Crownculus test" Dina said "I should of deserved a B+".

"Well today was a disaster in Chemythsry" Cari said "I poured this liquid into the alcohol, and smoke flooded the whole room, I failed".

Alistair kept looking around for the cat, but he couldn't find it.

"Alistair" Bunny said "What are you looking for?"

"For the whole day, this black cat seemed to follow me" he said.

"A black cat?" everyone said.

"Yeah, wherever he go, it followed me, and it would stair at me, it's so creepy".

"Maybe it wants you to play with him" Maddie said.

"Well he should play with someone else, cause he's freaking me out".

"Maybe it wants your attention" Marchness said.

"Well what does it want me for? Why me?"

But before they could say anything, a meow was heard, in front of them was the black cat.

"Oh no" Alistair groaned "What do you want from me cat?"

But the cat just meowed and started to walk away.

"Kitty" Maddie said "Can you speak cat?"

"A little" she said "But I'm pretty it says it wants us to follow it".

Everyone then followed the cat down the forest.

"Does anyone know where we're going?" Lizzie asked.

They all shook their heads no. They then came to a stop, they were in a field with no trees and bushes.

"Uh, why are we stopping here?" Tony asked.

The cat meowed.

"What did it say?" Alistair asked Kitty.

"I think it's saying, my name is, Dinah?" Kitty gasped.

"Dinah?!" everyone gasped.

"Wait" Alistair said "How can that be, Dinah died years ago of old age".

They all looked at the cat.

"Dinah?" Alistair asked "Is it really you?"

She gave one last meow before disappearing.

"Oh my Gosh!" Lizzie gasped "Ghost cat!"

"So, the ghost of Dinah was the one following me the whole day?!" Alistair asked shocked "But, why?"

But before they could answer, the ground beneath them started to shake.

"What's going on?" Tammy asked scared.

"Earthquake?" Maddie squeaked.

Just then, the ground opened and everyone plunged down a hole, a rabbit hole.
