Ch.12 Liddell ghosts

The sun was rising on the streets, and people were already outside. Alistair walked down the streets and towards the train station, it opened at 6, and it was leaving in 5 minutes to go to Oxford. He bought his ticket and got on the train, he wondered what his friends will think when they find out where he's going. The train then closed it's door and off it went.

Later that morning when everyone was awake, Maddie went to Alistair's room, only to find he wasn't there. She then noticed the note next the rabbit doll, she read the note and gasped.

"Guys!" she called as she ran downstairs "Alistair's gone!"

"What do you mean he's gone?" Lizzie asked.

"I went into his room but he wasn't there" Maddie said "But he left a note".

"Well read it" Kitty said.

"If you guys find this note, you're probably worried where I am, but there's no need to worry, I'm just taking the train to Oxford so I can search my mom's old house again. I'll be back soon-Alistair" Maddie read the note.

"He went back to the house?" Bunny gasped.

"I guess he needed to search some more so he can get some answers" Cari said.

" Well I just hope he'll be ok" Maddie said.

Now in Oxford again, Alistair climbed the steps of the house and opened the door slowly, he peeked inside making sure it was empty, and stepped in. He pulled out his flashlight and turned it on. He looked around the living room and looked at the burnt old furniture, he then heard something sway pass behind him, but when he turned around he saw nothing. He continued to look around when he felt something cold brush pass his arm. He looked to see what it was, but all he saw was nothing. But then, when he turned back around, he saw the 3 shadows he saw before, staring at him. He tried to run, but he tripped over a chair and fell down, he looked back and saw the shadow coming towards him, he closed his eyes expecting the shadows to attack.

"Don't be afraid Alistair" one of the shadows said.

Alistair slowly opened his eyes and looked at the shadows, but this time they didn't look like the shadows, instead they looked like normal people, one man and 2 ladies.

"Uh" he said nervously.

"Don't be afraid" the older women said "We wont hurt you".

He then realized who they were.

"Mr and Mrs. Liddell" he gasped "And, Lizzie Liddell?"

"Hello Alistair" they smiled.

"But, but-" he stuttered.

"We know you're scared right now" Mr. Liddell said "But don't be afraid".

Alistair held his bravery.

"You guys are, ghosts" he said.

"We know" Mrs. Liddell said.

"So Alistair" Liz said (I'm gonna call her Liz) "How's your mother?"

"She's good" he said "She misses you guys".

"Well we also miss her" Liz said "And we know why you're here. You're looking for answers".

"Well, yes" he said "I'm trying to find how Dr. Bumby came back".

"Oh Angus" Mr. Liddell grunted "I should of never of trusted him".

"I've been trying to find out how he came back, but I could never find the answer, and it's driving me crazy" Alistair said.

"Well we know how he came back" Mrs. Liddell said.

"Really?" Alistair gasped "How?"

"Well, they say the best way to kill is through the heart" Liz said "And Alice didn't kill Dr. Bumby through the heart".

"So Dr. Bumby's back all because my mom didn't kill him the right way?" Alistair asked.

"Oh that's not all" Liz added "You see, Dr. Bumby's sole didn't go to where it should of gone, instead his sole haunted Alice. But she stopped him by trapping his sole in a bottle and locking it in a safe spot and moved to Wonderland. But after many years went by, someone found the bottle and opened it, releasing the sole that caused Dr. Bumby to return".

"Oh no" Alistair gasped "Well how do I get rid of him forever?"

"Kill him through his heart, that's the way to get rid of him forever".

"I'm on it" Alistair said as he headed to the door.

"Alistair wait" Liz stopped him "I should warn you, Dr. Bumby is very clever, it's hard to outsmart him".

"Well, I'll try my best".

"You're a brave boy" Mrs. Liddell said.

"Thanks" he smiled.

But before he could open the door, Dinah appeared.

"Oh hello Dinah" Liz said as Dinah meowed.

"What?" Liz gasped "Oh no".

"What?" Alistair asked.

"She says that something's happened at the Mangled Mermaid" Liz said.

"What?!"

"She said that she saw Dr. Bumby come in and attack your friends".

"Oh no, I gotta get back, but it'll take too long".

Dinah gave another meow.

"She says to look into your sachet" Liz said.

Alistair looked into his sachet and pulled out a bottle filled with some sand.

"Teleportation sand" he read the label "I didn't know I had this with me".

He then opened the bottle.

"Thanks for the answer" he said.

"No problem" the Liddells said.

Alistair then pored the sand on himself, and he focused on teleporting to the London, when he opened his eyes, he was back in London. He ran to the Mangled Mermaid and found Nan laying on the ground with a bruise on her forehead.

"Nan!" he called as he went to her "Nan you ok?"

Nan began to get up.

"Alistair" she mumbled "Is that you?"

"Yes it's me" he said "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine" she said as she got up.

"Where's everyone else?"

"Oh dear, we were just talking and then Dr. Bumby came in and whacked me on the head with this hammer, I didn't really see much when I collapsed by I did get a peek of those Orderlies grabbing your friends".

"Oh man" Alistair gasped "I'm gonna look for them".

"Be careful" Nan warned as he ran out and to the asylum. He wasn't gonna let Dr. Bumby hurt his friends, just like how he hurt Alice.
