Elphie Returns

Elphie!

"LOOK BOQ SHE'S WALKING!!" Glinda yelled.
"REALLY?" Boq shouted, running into the room.
"Well, now she's laughing because she fell, but she was walking!" Glinda exclaimed. "Elphie, get in here!"
Elphaba took her time walking into the room. "I walk every day, but do you get excited, no!"
"Oh shut up, you just aren't that adorable, Elphie," Glinda joked.
"Elphie!" Kristi laughed.
"She said your name! Before my name!" Glinda whispered.
"Yeah. It's her hundredth word," Elphaba said sarcastically.
"You're just my little mockingbird," Boq told, picking Kristi up.
"Dada!"
"Yes. I'm dada, that's mama, and that's Elphie," Boq agreed.
Nick walked into the room from his job at the newspaper.
"Do you know who that is?" Boq asked his daughter.
"Ni-Ni," Kristi squealed.
Even Elphaba had to smile at that.
Boq handed Kristi to Glinda, who gladly accepted. Boq and Nick left the room.
Kristi was dressed in a sparkly pink dress. She had the same blonde hair her mother had when she was younger.
"You are adorable," Glinda cooed.
"Elphie!" Kristi shrieked.
"Do you want to hold her?" Glinda asked Elphaba. Elphaba's eyes widened in fear.
"Don't worry, you won't drop her," Glinda gently placed Kristi into Elphaba's arms.
"Elphie!" Kristi said happily. Elphaba smiled at the child. "You're a lot like your mother," She whispered.
"Mama," Kristi responded.
"Yes, mama. Glinda," Elphaba smiled.
"Glin," Kristin mumbled.
"Hey! That's my nickname for her!" Elphaba joked. The girl laughed for no apparent reason.
Glinda turned the TV on to a commercial of a kitten.
"Kitty!" Kristi squealed.
"Yes, kitty," Elphaba said, setting the child down and letting her walk towards the TV.
"Want!" Kristi told, pointing towards the cat.
"Sweetheart, we can't take care of a cat," Glinda murmered.
"Want!" Kristi whined.
"Why can't we?" Elphaba asked.
"We already have a toddler, we can't take care of cat," Glinda told.
"Want!" Kristi assured.
"Look at that face," Elphaba persuaded, picking up the child and sitting her on Glinda's lap.
"Alright, i'll talk about it with Boq," Glinda agreed.
"Yay!" Both Elphaba and Kristi said.
"You two are adorable," Glinda laughed.
"Unicorn!" Kristi yelled, not really knowing what she was saying.
"I love you," Glinda smiled, picking up Kristi.
Boq and Nick came into the room talking.
"Kitty!" Kristi shrieked.
"About that.." Glinda began.
