"S...shopping what for?" I asked quietly.

"You need some clothes Y/n" Meryl said with a smile.

Suddenly I started to cry as I gripped onto my pants.

"H..hay whats wrong" Millie said.

"I...it's just..." I said but was cut off by Wolfwood.

"You have no idea how bad slaves are treated...she has probably never even smiled in her life" Wolfwood said with a frown.

"And I'm sure Vash has learned already, not to mention slaves have a hard time trusting strangers and for this girl to be so attached to him after only a few hours means that...never mind we already know Vash is weird" Wolfwood shrugged.

I pouted at that and whispered lightly.

"Please don't be mean to him..." I said softly and I clung to him side.

Wolfwood pov:

She looked so young compared to Vash when she clung to him.

Because of how tall Vash was, how thin her body was, and how quit she is, I would not be surprised if someone would think she is his kid.

"Well, I guess she will look older once she eats more and gets healthy again" I said finishing my thought out loud.

"Huh?" Millie tilted her head in confusion.

"Oh just that well...look at them...with how thin and quiet she is...anyone would think Vash is her father or something" I said.

I couldn't help but laugh at how red Vash's face went at that.

"I do see what you mean, the way she clings to him on top of the height difference" Meryl added in.

"OK, let's go to the store!" Vash said probably trying to change the subject.

Once we got outside I couldn't help getting scared at how many people there were.

"Calm down Y/n...you have us here, Millie and I know our way around a gun but you also have two beast protecting you" Meryl said with a smile.

"Beast?" I asked confused as we kept walking.

I looked up and saw Vash rub the back of his neck nervously.

"Vash does not seem like a beast?...Beast's are scary...like Wolfwood...Vash is really nice" I said softly, smiling at the thought of how kind Vash is.

"Well thanks Y/n I appreciate it" Vash said a big smile on his face.

When we got to the store I immediately recognized it.

Once we walked in the lady working there smiled at us.

"Oh is that you dear?" The woman said.

"Hello mam..."I said softly.

The old woman frowned.

"Aw...I see you have a new master yet again..." The woman said.

"Well...they are nice so...it's all right" I said softly.

The woman sighed knowing I have said that every time.

"How did you know her?" Vash asked.

"Oh, all of my past masters have brought me here before..." I said softly.

Vash mad an "Aw" noice.

"Why don't you go and look for something you like" Vash said with a smile.

"I'll come with" Meryl said.
