Mr Kim was back at the palace as he informed the king and queen of the situation about the male omega.
"A male omega you said? And the other one's a beta?" Queen exclaimed in distress. Even though she already found the idea of a commoner marrying into the royalty as stupid, she did not think it could get any more complicated.
"Yes queen", Mr Kim bowed again.
"We can't do anything about it and it's only a male omega. As long as he can bear the child, I see no problem." The king proclaimed, looking completely unamused by the news.
"B....but your majesty...How is it possibl-" The Queen tried to show her concern but was cut off in the middle.
"It has been done in the past, just a thousand years ago. Maybe this will bring even more attention from the masses." The king looked confident of his plan of earning the public trust this time.
"But prince...will he-"
"He will have to say yes, it's not like he's a child anymore."
"As you say." The queen retreated after bowing.
Later that day, Choi's were informed of the news. Everyone at the house was elated except Hyunsuk because he knew something that they didn't, well that how big of an arrogant asshole the prince was.
. . .
Jihoon heard a knock on his door to which he responded, "Come in".
"Queen?"
"Seja, I want to tell you that the person you'll be marrying is studying in your school."
Jihoon jolted up in bed, a little nervous with that information. Could it be that the wildest fantasy of Chaein being the one comes true? But no, that's impossible, so he quickly erased the thought out of his mind.
"It's a male omega, Choi Hyunsuk..."
"W...what? A male...omega?"
The queen felt a tinge of dismay upon seeing Jihoon's shocked face. She knew that all of this might be too much for him at the moment but they were ultimately training him for tougher things.
"Yes, his majesty has decided on this. Please sleep well."
Jihoon was short of words as he worked his brain over the entire situation. Just how many surprise bombs was life throwing at him?
.
Next day at school
Hyunsuk was instructed to keep his mouth shut about everything and pretend to be oblivious, so nothing actually changed. He entered the school in his regular messy attire, tie flung shabbily on his neck, the laces of his shoes half tied and hands loaded with artbooks and supplies as he ran through the ground to not be late for the class again.
Looking at the entire shenanigan from their class was Jihoon and his friends.
One guy called Haruto spoke up, fidgeting a brand new cellphone in his hand, "He's that art class guy, isn't he?"
Jihoon who's recently known of the guy and not for good reasons went, "A damn weirdo."
"Ay he had the audacity to make you mad? This Choi Hyunsuk got some guts!" His other friend Asahi laughed.
The moment that name slipped out of Asahi's mouth, Jihoon froze at his spot. After a momentary pause of shock he asked,
"What's his name again?"
"Choi hyunsuk? He's an omega I was with in the art class back in the 8th grade." Asahi responded with a confused face, wondering why the name interested Jihoon.
