The next morning, the court ladies kept banging the doors of Hyunsuk's room but he was not showing any signs of waking up. That's when the queen arrived on scene and dismissed them to take the task in her own hands.
She went straight in and called out in a loud voice,
"Wake up, it's late."Hyunsuk peeked through half open eyes like he usually did at home but the realisation hit him that he was now in the palace and the queen herself was standing in front of him.
He jumped up in the bed and instantly sat up on his folded legs.
"Q...queen why are you here?" His voice stuttered half out of fear and half out of being freshly awake."Get ready and be present at the tea ceremony."
Another ceremony. Hyunsuk sighed as she left. He rushed through his morning routine and got dressed in the clothes the court lady Ms Lin left for him.
The ceremony was as boring as it could be. He had to just pour some tea into the elder people's cups while they talked about things that went over his head.
"Halma mama I think we should arrange him some classes on the royal traditions because he's still young and can learn."
The dowager queen and king agreed to that as they also felt he had a long way to go.
He had earlier embarrassed himself by switching the titles of the King and Dowager Queen, creating a good laughing moment that included Jihoon letting out a shameless snicker. Although he side eyed him for that.
"But I'll still go to school...right?" His serious tone made the King chuckle.
"Haha, of course bingung."
He still wasn't used to being called that, by the title of 'crown princess'.

It was a quiet ride till they neared the school. The commotion grew as the cars halted inside the gates. Students flocking at the entrance were just there for the cameras according to Jihoon. But one gloomy face in the crowd caught his attention, it was Chaein. Hyunsuk saw him spacing out because of that and had to snap some fingers before his face,
"Don't worry, you'll get to meet your lover inside."
Before Jihoon could argue with Hyunsuk about that, the latter had already stepped out. Yet again they were bombarded with flashlights and microphones but the guards helped them through. They immediately parted ways upon reaching inside as if they hadn't just got married yesterday.

Jihoon was just sitting around with his friends when Haruto spoke up,
"Woah our boy is married now!""Guess I am." Jihoon replied sloppily.
"So tell us what happened yesterday night?" Asahi asked with much anticipation.
"What?" Jihoon looked confused.
"We're not kids man, tell us, did you guys do it?" Jeongwoo intervened.
Jihoon got a hint of what they meant and his mind instantly replayed the image of the split second when he was on top of Hyunsuk, in such proximity to his face and only thinking about that made all the blood rush to his ears.
"Oof so something really happened.." Asahi added in a very teasing tone.
"No of course not. Nothing happened guys, you know I haven't married him by choice."
"What will happen to Chaein?" Haruto's sudden remark turned the expression on Jihoon's face into a solemn one, probably because he too had been thinking about that, ever since he saw her looking sad in the morning.
