Sera went to visit the great queen mother the moment she was discharged from the hospital, she had to play her victim card after all and collect all the sympathy.
And apart from that she even pressured the clan leaders to demand the crown prince to be deposed as well.
"What should we do now? This has gone out of our hands...now they want crown prince to deposed too?" The queen muttered.
"Halma mama, this isn't just a matter confined to the palace now, they're demanding the abolishment of monarchy, the credibility of monarchy is in question now. First the matter of crown princess and now the crown prince too." The king added to the bad news.
"I...is there no way we can...we can fix this?" The great queen mother had tears in her eyes.
"I have thought of a temporary solution" the King showed slight hesitation as he glanced at where Jihoon was seated and continued, "I would like to send Bingung to overseas for some time, until everything is better."
"I also think this is the only right decision. I tried covering up what was in papers and news but the criticism never stops. It'll only anger people if we let the matter slide, we must show them that he's sorry for the commotion he has caused."
Jihoon glared, straight at his parents, his brows heightened and with a voice flared up of anger he snapped,
"I won't let that happen. You can't do that!"
He was worked up and why wouldn't he be when it had only been a day since they confessed their true feelings for each other and now this cruel judgement was being forced on them. And what was Hyunsuk being punished for? For being involved in rumours that weren't even true to begin with, it just didn't make any sense.
"You have to understand Seja, this is for the monarchy." His mother pleaded desperately.
"The future of our monarchy is at stake, someone has to make a sacrifice." The King appeared guilty saying this, but Jihoon didn't want that, he wanted this crap of a decision to be stopped.
"I can't accept it. He's my husband. I get to decide what happens not you."
Thr great queen mother silently watched his anger unfold. She was at a tough spot too. While the king's decision seemed to be the only way out, her grandson's emotions felt equally important.
'Jihoon, no.' Minji mouthed that to Jihoon to prevent him from crossing any lines further. He spared her a helpless glance and walked out of the room in anger, leaving the elders guilty.
.
Hyunsuk was in Jihoon's room going through one of his books when the latter suddenly showed up in front of him and engulfed him a tight embrace. Although he was a little surprised at first, he noticed how Jihoon's hands which held his waist strongly, were slightly trembling.
"Jihoon what happened-"
Jihoon cut him off as he spoke, retracting from the embrace yet his hands had not left Hyunsuk's waist.
"Listen carefully...no matter what happens, trust me and do as I say."Hyunsuk was even more confused now, Jihoon's tone felt shaky and nervous, he got naturally worried.
"Ok, but what is wrong?"
"Nothing. And yes, promise me that you won't get sick." With that Jihoon locked him into a hug again, burrying his face into Hyunsuk's neck.
Hyunsuk could have asked a lot, he wanted to, because these words just now sounded too cryptic yet he valued something else more, that Jihoon for some reason that was unknown, seemed tensed and needed a hug. So he reciprocated him all the warmth he needed, patting his soft hair to calm him down.
