Second Person POV (Y/n)

For the next couple of weeks, you noticed a sweet smelling food. You avoided it at first, but finally you decided to take a bite. The bite tasted like heaven so you decided to take as much as you could, at least you would until...

"Bloodeh hell..." You heard a gruff voice coming from behind you.

You turned around to see a one-eyed bean looking at you. Fighting the urge to scream so that you wouldn't attract more more beans, you were about to book it but he wrapped his fingers around your body and lifted you up off of the counter.

Third Person POV (Tavish)

He honestly didn't know how she got there, how long she was there or even what she was, all Tavish knew was that he was holding a tiny woman in his hand and she was clearly terrified.

"I'm not going to hurt yeh, lassie." He said in an attempt to calm her down, but it did little to help the situation.

Tavish carried the woman all the way up to his chambers and set her down on the the bed.

"Are you a fairy?" He asked her.

"N-no." She stammered.

"Then what are yeh?"

"I-I'm a borrower." The woman replied. "Please sir, I'll leave and never come back! Just don't hurt me and let me go!"

"A borrower..." Tavish furrowed his brows. "Are you the one that steals food from the kitchen?"

"Y-yes, but I need it to survive and we– I mean I don't see it as stealing, but rather taking what we– I need."

"So there are more of you?"

The borrower didn't reply.

Tavish studied the tiny woman in front of him. Judging by her reaction, she had never interacted with a human before and saw them as threats. He thought about what would happen if the roles were switched, which is when he realized that his eyepatch scared her even more.

He lowered his voice and got down to her level. "What's your name, lass?"

"Y-y/n..." Y/n responded.

"Me name's Tavish, Tavish Finnigan Degroot." He said as he gently scooped her up.
