Second Person POV (Y/n)
You let out a small yelp as the bean scooped up your tiny frame.
"Are there any more of yeh in the keep?" He asked.
Due to the difference in size, his voice was noticeably louder then yours.
"No." You replied nervously. "Not that I know of. You aren't mad at me, are you?"
Tavish thought for a moment. "I'm more surprised, and relieved that yeh weren't found by my brother."
"Your brother?"
"Aye. He's much meaner and will treat yeh worse than vermin."
"Can't be much worse than how you beans treat us already, which is why we have to stay hidden." You said.
"Beans?" Tavish looked at you with confusion.
"Aren't you guys called human beans?" You asked.
The Bean was taken aback by your question, but then you could see realization flash across his face.
"Oh, yeh must mean human beings."
Now it was your turn to be confused.
"Regardless of of what you call yourselves, my point stands that your kind has hated us." You said. "Could you please set me down? I’ll leave as soon as I can."
"Why do yeh want to leave so badly?" He asked.
"I don't want to, I need to. Borrowers cannot risk staying in the same place when they're seen."
"So yeh spend yer entire life in hiding?"
"We have to." You replied.
Tavish thought for a moment.
"I have an idea, why don't yeh stay here?" He suggested.
"Why would I stay here? I've been seen." You asked.
"Because the only other place like this is my brother's camp, and doesn't take kindly to people sneaking around. My mates and I can help you survive and protect yeh."
"I'm sorry, but just because you spared my life doesn't that other human beans will." You said.
"How about this, I'll give yeh three days to decide whether yeh want stay or leave. I promise that my mates will be kind to yeh, but it's yer choice." The Bean told you.
He bent down and allowed you to climb off of his hands.
"Thank you, sir." You said as you curtsied to him.
"Just Tavish is fine lass." He responded. "Please let me know if you intend to stay."
You nodded and then quickly left to return to your home.
