Third Person POV (Tavish)

The borrower and the human were able to get back to the keep and they made their way to the doorway of the dining hall.

"Do you want to have dinner with us again, or would you prefer to eat alone?" Tavish asked Y/n.

"I suppose that it wouldn't hurt to join for dinner," she replied.

Tavish carried her into the dining hall, to which all of his looked at them.

"Is the little one joining us again?" Jane asked.

"Aye," Tavish replied.

"Well, the more the merrier," a stout man, Dell, said.

"Thank you," Y/n responded, raising her voice so that she could be heard.

Food was bought out for everyone in the dining hall to eat. After watching her eat a few bites, the Laird could that Y/n was enjoying the food.

"Say Dell, I'm wondering if you could help with something," Tavish said.

"What do you need?" Dell asked.

"Well, the lass will need to be able to get up onto raised surfaces such as tables and beds–"

"Sorry for interrupting, but why would I need to get up onto a bed?" the borrower asked.

"Because it will get cold in the walls," the Laird replied.

"Won't a human bed be too big for me?" Y/n asked.

"It's better for it to be too big than too little," Dell said to her.

he then looked at Tavish.

"Of course I can help," Dell said with a smile.

"I-I wouldn't want it to be too much trouble for you..."

"Why would it be too much trouble?" Dell asked. "You're looking at one the best engineers in Europe."

After they finished eating, the men started to discuss the current war.

"As you know lads, we are evenly matched with my brother," Tavish said. "Knowing that bastard, he's going to try to gain the upper hand, so we have to find a way to turn the tides. Any ideas?"

Misha spoke up.

"As much I don't like it, we could ask for advice from magic man."

"You mean a wizard?" Laurent, the spy, asked. "It seems that we don't have many choices."

Tavish nodded. "I remember meeting a wizard a long time ago. Though he was cynical, he was powerful and wise."

"A-are you sure this is a good idea?" Y/n asked. "If there is anything borrowers fear more than humans, it's wizards."

"I don't know, but we have to try," Tavish said. "I know you are afraid lass, but would you like to come with?"

"I-I suppose so," Y/n said, feeling worried. "I trust that you will protect me."

"Now, does anyone know any wizards?" Tavish asked.

"I do know one..." Jane said as he stood up.
